UiPath unveils next-generation enterprise automation platform at Singapore summit

UiPath introduces its next-gen agentic automation platform in Singapore, bringing together AI agents, robots and people to drive enterprise efficiency.

UiPath has introduced its latest enterprise-grade platform for agentic automation at the Agentic Automation Summit held on 8 July in Singapore. Designed to bring together AI agents, robots, and humans in a single system, the platform aims to streamline business processes and improve organisational efficiency across industries.

Addressing enterprise AI adoption challenges

The new UiPath Platform addresses common barriers faced by businesses when adopting AI at scale, such as data security, compliance risks, inconsistent performance, and the limitations of pilot programmes. In Southeast Asia, navigating ethical frameworks and regulatory differences around AI remains a challenge. While Singapore has introduced its National AI Strategy 2.0 to guide responsible innovation, the region’s approach remains largely fragmented and voluntary.

The platform’s agentic architecture is designed for business-critical operations and builds on UiPath’s experience in automation. It allows organisations to develop secure, reliable, and scalable workflows by combining AI agents with traditional automation and human input.

According to IDC’s 2025 Agentic AI research, 42% of organisations in Southeast Asia already use AI agents, and another 44% plan to adopt them in the next 12 months. Singapore is leading this trend, supported by government-led initiatives to drive AI development. Furthermore, 80% of organisations in the region say they are willing to invest up to 50% more in AI agent platforms, with expectations of achieving three times the return on investment.

Deepika Giri, Associate Vice President at IDC Asia/Pacific, said, “We’re at a pivotal moment in AI evolution—moving from co-pilots to autonomous agents that can be deployed as part of broader workflows. As trust in AI deepens and governance frameworks mature, human oversight will become increasingly critical for these agents to operate independently at scale. This marks a fundamental shift in how businesses drive efficiency, innovation, and decision-making through AI.”

Key features of the new UiPath Platform

At the summit, UiPath demonstrated new capabilities of the platform, including UiPath Maestro, an orchestration layer that automates and monitors complex workflows end to end. Maestro helps scale AI agents across different systems while maintaining visibility, process intelligence, and performance monitoring.

UiPath also highlighted the platform’s built-in security and governance. AI agents operate within clearly defined parameters through a controlled agency model, with features such as real-time vulnerability assessments and data access controls.

The platform supports both low-code and full-code development. It allows business users to build AI agents through visual tools while offering developers the flexibility to customise automations in UiPath Studio. This inclusive approach ensures that both technical and non-technical teams can contribute to automation projects.

The open architecture of the platform allows integration with third-party agent frameworks like LangChain, Anthropic, and Microsoft. Through its partnership with Google Cloud, UiPath also supports the new Agent2Agent (A2A) protocol, enabling secure communication and coordination between AI agents across different enterprise systems.

Another key update is UiPath IXP (Intelligent Xtraction & Processing), a new solution for processing unstructured data using multimodal AI. IXP is designed for complex tasks such as claims processing, loan origination, and electronic batch records. Additionally, a natural language-driven UI Agent is in private preview, allowing users to command AI agents to carry out multi-step actions across interfaces.

Early adoption and industry collaboration

Since the private preview launched in January 2025, the platform has already supported the creation of thousands of semi-autonomous and autonomous agents, with over 75,000 agent runs recorded. More than 450 partners have begun or completed agentic automation training, and the platform is being used in hundreds of real-world business cases.

Deb Deep Sengupta, Area Vice President for South Asia at UiPath, said, “With the launch of our next generation UiPath Platform, we’re delivering a powerful foundation for agentic automation – one that brings together AI agents, robots and people to help enterprises operate with greater productivity and scale. The result is faster decision-making, smarter operations, and more time for employees to focus on high-impact, meaningful work.”

Satyen Makhija, Partner at Deloitte India, added, “The next frontier in digital transformation lies in technologies that don’t just automate tasks, but act independently, adapt in real time, and scale intelligently. Our partnership with UiPath, a global leader in agentic automation, is designed to help our customers build highly scalable automation architectures. AI agents enable them to do just that through a new level of autonomy—operating across functions from front-end design to back-end operations and driving measurable impact across the business.”

The Singapore summit is part of a broader regional series, with UiPath bringing its roadshow to 15 cities across APJ throughout 2025. The events provide a platform for customers, partners, and industry experts to explore the future of enterprise AI and automation.
