Xiaomi 15 Ultra clears IMDA registration, set to launch in Singapore

Xiaomi 15 Ultra has cleared IMDA registration, indicating a Singapore launch soon after MWC 2025. Find out what this means for buyers.

Xiaomi is preparing to release the Ultra variant of its flagship smartphone series globally. While the device was absent from the China launch, recent developments indicate it is now on its way to Singapore. The Xiaomi 15 Ultra has been spotted in the Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) database, a key step for communication devices to gain approval for retail and use in the country.

IMDA registration signals Singapore launch

A moderator from the HWZ Forum, who actively follows Xiaomi updates, shared a screenshot showing three entries for the model number “25010PN30G” listed under Xiaomi Electronic Pte Ltd as the supplier. A quick online search links this model number to the Xiaomi 15 Ultra, which has also received approval from China’s regulatory authority.

The IMDA’s telecommunications equipment registry listing suggests that the smartphone may soon be available in Singapore. Typically, devices that appear in the database are released within two weeks to two months. This follows a similar pattern to the standard Xiaomi 15 models, which were previously registered under the same company. This company is believed to be responsible for Xiaomi’s official store at Funan Mall and its first-party online retail platform in Singapore.

Expected release date and global launch

A major clue regarding the Xiaomi 15 Ultra’s global release is its upcoming debut at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025. Xiaomi’s UK website has launched a countdown timer ending on March 2, 2025, coinciding with MWC in Barcelona, Spain. Since MWC has historically been a significant event for smartphone announcements, Xiaomi will likely use the platform to unveil the Xiaomi 15 series to international markets, including the Ultra variant.

Based on past launches, Xiaomi 15 Ultra could be available in Singapore shortly after MWC 2025 concludes. Xiaomi typically offers pre-orders ahead of major releases, meaning customers in Singapore can expect early access to the device once the official sales start.
