Xiaomi introduces OpenWear Stereo in Singapore with cutting-edge features

Xiaomi releases the new OpenWear Stereo in Singapore, featuring ergonomic design, advanced audio technology, and extended battery life, starting from 15 July 2024.

Xiaomi announced the launch of its latest wearable technology, the Xiaomi OpenWear Stereo. These new earbuds are designed for continuous use throughout the day, whether in the office, at home, or during physical activities, offering an innovative approach to daily audio experiences.

Crafted for enduring comfort and durability

Weighing approximately 9.6 grams each, these earbuds are built with comfort and durability in mind. They are IP54 certified for dust and water resistance, ensuring they are suitable for various environments. The design is minimalist and non-intrusive, featuring soft, skin-friendly liquid silicone. The open-ear hook is designed to contour snugly around the ear, ensuring a secure, personalised fit while minimising interference with eyewear.

Superior audio technology enhances privacy and sound quality

The Xiaomi OpenWear Stereo excels in delivering superior audio quality and enhanced privacy. It is equipped with a 17x12mm elliptical dynamic driver and a Hi-Res Audio diamond-like Carbon (DLC) diaphragm that sharpens sound precision. The world’s first active anti-leakage sound system employs antiphase sound waves to significantly boost call privacy significantly, allowing secure listening in any environment. The earbuds’ dual microphone system utilises a beamforming algorithm to focus on voice clarity while reducing background noise, thus improving call quality.

Extended battery life and effortless connectivity

These earbuds boast an extended battery life, providing up to 7.5 hours of music playback from a single charge and up to 38.5 hours when utilised with the charging case. They also support rapid charging, delivering 1.5 hours of playback with just 10 minutes of charging. Running on Xiaomi’s latest HyperOS, the OpenWear Stereo offers seamless connectivity to various devices. The Audio Sharing feature also allows two pairs of earbuds to connect simultaneously to one Xiaomi device. Customisable touch controls via the Xiaomi Earbuds app further enhance the usability of these high-tech earbuds.

Availability and pricing

The Xiaomi OpenWear Stereo is available in Sandstone Beige and Cosmic Grey, retailing at S$199. They can be purchased online through Shopee and Lazada from 15 July 2024. An Early Bird Promotion, running from 15 – 22 July, will offer these innovative earbuds at a discounted price of S$149, exclusively online.
