Linksys, the connected home division within the Belkin International and Foxconn Interconnect Technology (FIT), expanded its growing WiFi 6 portfolio with the release of the Linksys MR9600 (AX6000) router.

The Linksys MR9600 WiFi 6 mesh router offers 6.0 Gbps of speed and coverage of up to 3,000 square feet. The WiFi 6 technology sends and receives multiple streams of data simultaneously and reduces latency, providing up to 4x more capacity. This means that the MR9600 can handle the demands of up to 40+ devices, all competing for the same bandwidth, without any interference for continuous 8K video streaming and advanced gaming.

The MR9600 comes inbuilt with Intelligent Mesh™ Technology, allowing users to futureproof the router and expand their home network by adding any other Linksys mesh compatible products.

Additional features for Dual-Band Mesh WiFi 6 MR9600 router:

  • Certified by WiFi Alliance – Dual-Band Mesh WiFi 6 MR9600 router is WiFi CERTIFIED 6™, ensuring it meets industry requirements for interoperability, security, and reliability
  • Interoperability – compatible with the entire Linksys Intelligent Mesh™ portfolio, the Dual Band Mesh WiFi 6 MR9600 router can be used in addition to any Linksys mesh product as both the master and child node, to amplify WiFi coverage throughout the home; can be used as a primary router or as a secondary node to the existing mesh system
  • Hassle-free setup – quickly set up the Dual-Band Mesh WiFi 6 MR9600 router from any Android or iOS device using the Linksys App. After installation is complete, enjoy remote access to useful features such as guest access, parental controls, device prioritization, and insights that help users get maximum performance and utility from their network

The newest WiFi 5 router for additional coverage

Linksys also announces its latest MAX-STREAM Mesh WiFi 5 MR6350 (AC1300) Router, launching later this year. The new WiFi 5 router is Linksys’s latest wallet-friendly mesh router that is versatile and futureproof. The MR6350 is the ideal introduction to a simple mesh WiFi. Through its Intelligent Mesh™ Technology, users can also quickly expand their network by pairing the MR6350 with any existing Linksys Intelligent mesh router network for additional coverage and speed. The MR6350 Dual Band WiFi 5 Router covers up to 1,200 square feet and handles up to 12 devices at speeds up to 1.3Gbps for endless streaming, gaming, and binging.
