CeMAT Southeast Asia returns to Singapore to showcase the future of logistics and automation

CeMAT Southeast Asia 2025 will showcase innovations in logistics and automation, addressing rising complexities and tariffs within the supply chain.

CeMAT Southeast Asia, the premier logistics and supply chain trade event, is set to return to Singapore from 19 to 21 May 2025 at Singapore EXPO. The event will bring together the most influential technology and service providers to showcase the latest advancements in intralogistics, robotics and automation, warehousing, and supply chain management. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore cutting-edge product demonstrations, innovative industry solutions, and best practices across several sectors, including e-commerce, manufacturing, food, pharmaceuticals, FMCG, retail, and more.

A platform for the future of supply chain innovation

Organised by Hannover Fairs Asia Pacific, a subsidiary of Deutsche Messe, CeMAT Southeast Asia serves as the region’s premier platform for industry professionals to discover the technologies shaping the warehouse of tomorrow. Over 60 exhibitors are expected to participate, providing invaluable networking opportunities with key industry leaders. Notable exhibitors include global leaders such as SSI Schaefer, Daifuku, Honeywell, Körber Supply Chain, Interroll, Geek+, AutoStore, GreyOrange, and Hikrobot.

As demand for advanced intralogistics technologies grows in Southeast Asia, businesses are increasingly adopting supply chain storage solutions. A 2024 Gartner survey revealed that nearly 57% of organisations plan to increase their budgets by more than 10% for at least one of the four core supply chain functions over the next three years.

Opportunities for regional growth and collaboration

The event also highlights Malaysia’s ambition to become a regional logistics and automation hub under its New Industrial Master Plan 2030. CeMAT Southeast Asia offers Malaysian businesses a prime opportunity to explore the latest technologies, build cross-border partnerships, and scale innovations in the region. The event is expected to see an increase in participation from Malaysian manufacturers, retailers, and supply chain leaders eager to remain competitive in a rapidly evolving trade landscape.

Michael Rolfing, Managing Director Malaysia of Ferag, expressed his enthusiasm for the event, saying, “We had a fantastic event last year and are excited to return to Singapore for CeMAT Southeast Asia 2025. The global supply chain landscape is evolving rapidly in the face of rising tariff pressures, trade realignments, and growing complexity. Events like CeMAT Southeast Asia are more critical than ever, providing a platform for businesses to discover resilient, future-ready solutions. Singapore’s strategic role as a logistics hub makes it the ideal host, and we are especially excited to welcome more participation from Malaysia and across the region.”

Spotlight on Singapore innovations and expert-led sessions

One of the highlights of CeMAT Southeast Asia 2025 will be the Singapore Hour, a dedicated segment where exhibitors from the Singapore Pavilion will present cutting-edge innovations in automation, warehousing, supply chain technology, and logistics. Attendees can expect insights from leading Singapore companies on topics such as smart logistics, AI-driven automation, and sustainable supply chain solutions.

The event’s Knowledge Theatre will also feature expert-led sessions covering a range of topics, including AI-driven transformation, warehouse robotics, scalable automation, and strategies for building sustainable and secure supply chains. Industry leaders such as Carsten Spiegelberg, Head of Logistics Solutions APAC & MEA at SSI Schaefer, Alex Ch’ng, Business Development Manager at AutoStore, and Terrence Chan, Senior Sales Manager at Dematic, will share their expertise with attendees.

CeMAT Southeast Asia 2025 will also host the LogiSYM Asia Pacific conference on 20–21 May at Singapore EXPO. This renowned conference will bring together logistics and supply chain leaders to share practical insights, explore innovations, and address industry challenges. Through CeMAT’s collaboration with LogiSYM, the event offers enhanced networking and collaboration opportunities to help advance the logistics industry.
