LG Electronics (LG) will be launching its innovative 4K UHD LG SMART Monitors – marking the brand’s first smart monitor series, aimed at enhancing home life by offering a wide range of productivity and entertainment applications without needing a PC connection. The monitors (models 32SQ780S, 32SQ730S and 43SQ700S) feature a sleek design and allow users to stream their favourite content anytime. Whether working remotely or relaxing at home, the LG SMART Monitor is the ultimate tool for a more innovative and enjoyable experience. Kickstarting the launch, the 32SQ780S and 32SQ730S will be released on 13 February 2023, while the 43SQ700S will be available in April this year.

The LG SMART Monitors put multifunctionality first, offering users a single display solution that connects their desktop, laptop or gaming device, making it simpler to accomplish any required tasks in one location. Thanks to LG TV’s cutting-edge webOS 22, these models enable seamless streaming services, such as Disney+, Netflix, Prime Video and YouTube, without requiring an external computer, embodying the brand’s philosophy of “Work Smart, Play Better.”

An all-in-one monitor

Engineered from the latest technology, the LG SMART Monitors come with a slew of features that cover all demands. Boasting a 4K UHD (3840 x 2160) display, the flexible screen delivers excellent picture quality with support for HDR 10 and 90% of the DCI-P3 colour gamut for the 32SQ780S and 32SQ730S and 80% for the 43SQ700S. In combination with its integrated dual-channel stereo speaker that provides clear and dynamic sound, the monitors improve the viewing experience with total immersion, whether for a movie, sports match, or video game. All this can be powered through the USB Type-C port from laptop to monitor, supplying 4K display, data transfer and connected device charging (up to 65W), all through a single cable.

The LG SMART Monitors also offer unrivalled convenience through the LG Content Store. With it, users may install various programs, granting them the ability to stay productive and efficient. For further connectivity, the monitors feature the LG ThinQ Home Dashboard, which enables user-friendly webOS-based IoT services for easy operation of home appliances that make it easier to manage the home. In addition, users can mirror the screen of a smartphone on the monitors through AirPlay 2 (for Apple devices) or Screen Share (for Android devices) to allow for convenient movement between devices.

As the flagship model in the line-up, the 32SQ780S allows for added flexibility and comfort with the help of its LG Ergo stand. Whether the user needs to extend, retract, swivel, pivot, raise or tilt the screen, the Ergo stand makes it effortless to adjust the 32-inch display to the perfect viewing angle while accommodating vertical and horizontal modes. The monitor can also be installed conveniently without taking up important desk space, thanks to its C-clamp and grommet, allowing for total setup customisability based on user preference. Similarly, the 32SQ730S is crafted with ergonomics in mind with its height and tilt adjustable stand, while the 43SQ700S comes with a slim, modern stand.

Besides its larger 43-inch display, the 43SQ700S features an IPS display that produces crisp images and precise colours at wide angles. The monitor is also fitted with 10-watt dual-channel stereo speakers for added audio immersion, compared to its counterparts’ 5-watt speakers. All SMART Monitors are compatible with the Magic Remote that utilises AI voice recognition technology to control the operation of the displays.

“At LG Electronics, we are thrilled to deliver a state-of-the-art viewing experience with the launch of our new SMART Monitors,” Mr Lee Chang-Ha, Product Director of LG Electronics (Singapore) Home Entertainment. “With their inventive features and refined finish, the monitors are the epitome of versatility, seamlessly blending work and play to benefit any user, anywhere.”

The LG SMART Monitors (32SQ780S and 32SQ730S) are available on 13 February 2023 through LG official brand stores – KrisShopLazadaShopee, and at all authorised retailers – Best Denki, Challenger, COURTS, Gain City and Harvey Norman. From 3 – 12 February 2023, receive a LG Magic Remote (worth S$99) with the pre-order of the SMART Monitor (32SQ780S or 32SQ730S).
