Apple’s visionOS 2.4 update enhances Vision Pro with AI, Spatial Gallery, and more

Apple’s visionOS 2.4 update for Vision Pro arrives in April, bringing Apple Intelligence, Spatial Gallery, a companion iPhone app, and improved Guest mode.

Apple is set to release one of the most significant updates for the Vision Pro with visionOS 2.4. This update will introduce Apple Intelligence support, a brand-new Spatial Gallery app, a companion iPhone app, and improvements to Guest mode, making the Vision Pro experience even better.

Apple Intelligence comes to Vision Pro

With visionOS 2.4, you can use Apple Intelligence on your Vision Pro for the first time. The update will bring useful features such as Writing Tools to help refine your writing, Image Playground to generate fun and unique visuals, and Genmoji to create personalised emojis. These AI-driven tools were first introduced on the iPhone in December 2024 with the iOS 18.2 update, and now they are making their way to Vision Pro users.

The update also includes a brand-new app called Spatial Gallery. This app features a collection of spatial content, including photos, videos, and panoramas, carefully curated by Apple to showcase the Vision Pro’s capabilities. The Spatial Gallery will offer a fresh way to experience high-quality immersive media like never before.

Companion iPhone app and improved Guest mode

A new Apple Vision Pro app for iPhone will make it easier for you to manage your device. With this app, you can queue up apps and games to download, explore new spatial content, find useful tips, and access device information all from your iPhone.

Apple is also improving Guest mode in VisionOS 2.4, making it more convenient to share your Vision Pro with family and friends. You will be able to start Guest mode directly from your iPhone or iPad and choose which apps your guests can access. Additionally, View Mirroring with AirPlay will allow you to guide others through the Vision Pro experience by displaying what they see on a larger screen.

Apple has confirmed that visionOS 2.4 will be released for the Vision Pro in April. Developers can already access the first beta version of the update.
