ASUS routers dominate PCMag awards with record wins

ASUS routers win big at the 2025 PCMag Readers’ and Business Choice awards, sweeping all major home and office networking categories.

ASUS has achieved a clean sweep at the PCMag 2025 Readers’ Choice and Business Choice awards, winning across multiple categories for home and office networking. It is the first time a single company has secured the top position in all major categories, highlighting ASUS’s continued strength in delivering reliable, high-performance networking solutions.

Recognition across home and office categories

In the Readers’ Choice awards, ASUS routers ranked first in three categories: Home Wi-Fi Routers Overall, Standalone Home Wi-Fi Routers, and Wi-Fi Mesh Network Systems. On the business front, ASUS devices took top honours in Routers for Home Offices and Wi-Fi Mesh Network Systems for Home Offices.

This achievement builds on a long track record of success. ASUS has now won the Readers’ Choice award for Standalone Home Wi-Fi Routers 13 times, the Wi-Fi Mesh Network Systems category twice, and the Business Choice award for Routers for Home Offices eight times.

PCMag highlighted the company’s consistent performance, noting the growing strength of its ZenWiFi range. “For mesh, ASUS’s ZenWiFi line wins easily, notably jumping from 9.0 to 9.4 year-over-year for overall satisfaction,” the publication said.

High satisfaction and ease of use

ASUS scored 9.4 out of 10 for overall satisfaction, the highest rating in the survey, while also leading in reliability, mesh coverage, network management, and likelihood to recommend. Respondents pointed to the simplicity of features such as VPN configuration. One user noted, “It’s really easy to set up a VPN connection on the router for full coverage of all devices.”

The company’s AiMesh technology was also praised, allowing any compatible ASUS router, including ROG gaming routers, to connect seamlessly to an existing network. Features such as WiFi 7 Multi-Link Operation, Smart Home Master, and unified management give users flexibility and advanced performance.

Long-term leadership in networking

ASUS’s repeated success across both consumer and business categories reflects over a decade of recognition from PCMag readers. The company’s focus on engineering, customer feedback, and rigorous testing has helped it maintain a reputation for innovation and reliability.

PCMag singled out the ZenWiFi BQ16 Pro for its “astonishing throughput speed” and praised the ROG Rapture GT6 as “one of the few mesh systems designed specifically for gaming,” which also earned an Editors’ Choice award.

With this sweep, ASUS has not only cemented its role as a leader in home networking but also reinforced its relevance in supporting the growing demands of remote work and home offices. Its continued recognition points to a strong balance between technical innovation and user-friendly design.
