Canon launches PIXMA PRO-200S, a high-speed professional printer for creatives

Canon’s PIXMA PRO-200S A3+ printer delivers high-speed, professional-quality prints with an 8-ink system, improved security, and advanced layout software.

Canon has introduced the PIXMA PRO-200S A3+ Professional Photo Printer, designed to meet the needs of photographers and graphic designers looking for high-quality prints with accurate colours and fine details.

The printer builds on Canon’s previous models with an expanded 8-ink system, delivering gallery-ready prints with improved tonal depth. It also supports various media types and sizes, including Canon’s Photo Paper Pro Luster and Premium Fine Art Rough Paper, making it suitable for both professional and exhibition use.

According to Andrew Koh, Senior Vice President and Head of Singapore Operations Group, Canon Singapore, “Photographers and graphic artists will find the PIXMA PRO-200S A3+ Professional Photo Printer a perfect complement to bring their creative work to life. With an expanded colour gamut and advanced ink system, users will be able to create vibrant, gallery-worthy prints. Coupled with advanced layout solutions, users can be assured of a seamless workflow from image creation to print.”

Designed for professional use with improved efficiency

One of the key features of the PIXMA PRO-200S is its ability to produce high-resolution A3+ prints in just 1 minute 30 seconds, making it one of the faster options in its category. The Auto Skew Correction function also helps prevent paper misalignment, allowing for smoother handling of thicker and larger print media.

For professionals managing multiple print projects, the 3-inch colour LCD screen provides an intuitive interface, making it easier to check ink levels, connect to Wi-Fi, and adjust settings without relying on a computer.

Security and software features to streamline workflows

Canon has also prioritised security features with the TLS 1.3 encryption protocol, designed to protect sensitive data from cyber threats during the printing process. This feature is particularly relevant for photographers and designers handling confidential client projects.

The Professional Print & Layout (PPL) software included with the printer gives users greater control over colour accuracy and print layouts, ensuring a smooth transition from digital editing to final prints. Additionally, Canon’s Media Configuration Tool (MCT) allows professionals to manage both Canon-branded and third-party print media with ease.

Price and availability

The PIXMA PRO-200S A3+ Professional Photo Printer is available for purchase at Canon Authorised Retailers at a recommended price of S$649.
