LG unveils 2025 OLED evo lineup with enhanced brightness and AI personalisation

LG unveils its 2025 OLED evo lineup with enhanced brightness, AI-powered personalisation, and cutting-edge gaming features for an immersive experience.

LG Electronics has introduced its highly anticipated 2025 OLED evo lineup, featuring advanced TV models such as the wireless OLED evo M5 and the OLED evo G5. These TVs are powered by LG’s latest α (Alpha) 11 AI processor Gen2, delivering outstanding picture quality, improved brightness, and intelligent personalisation for a more immersive viewing experience.

Unparalleled picture quality with enhanced brightness and AI processing

The 2025 OLED evo models boast LG’s upgraded Brightness Booster Ultimate technology, which uses refined light control architecture and advanced algorithms to produce brightness levels three times higher than standard OLED displays. This enhancement ensures crisp details and vibrant colours, creating a lifelike viewing experience across various lighting conditions.

The new lineup also features flawless black levels, stable performance, and precise colour accuracy. These displays have earned certifications from UL Solutions for “Perfect Black” and “Perfect Colour” verification and Intertek for 100% colour fidelity. Additionally, TÜV Rheinland awarded the lineup with “Quick Stability with Image Quality” certification, ensuring optimal visual performance immediately after powering on.

LG has also introduced an improved Filmmaker Mode with Ambient Light Compensation. This technology automatically adjusts picture settings based on room lighting conditions, preserving the creator’s original intent for an authentic cinematic experience.

For gamers, LG has raised the bar with support for the industry’s first 4K 165Hz Variable Refresh Rate (VRR), certified by NVIDIA G-SYNC and AMD FreeSync Premium. This ensures minimal lag, tear-free visuals, and smooth motion during high-speed gameplay. The ClearMR 10000 certification by VESA further guarantees clarity and precision during fast-paced action scenes.

Intelligent AI personalisation for audio and visual excellence

At the heart of the OLED evo models lies the powerful α (Alpha) 11 AI processor Gen2, which leverages deep learning algorithms to enhance low-resolution images to high definition. The Dynamic Tone Mapping Professional feature allows precise HDR10 content adjustment, ensuring accurate colour and detail representation in all environments.

Audio quality has also been enhanced with AI Sound Pro, which delivers virtual 11.1.2 surround sound for an immersive audio experience. The AI Picture/Sound Wizard analyses over 1.6 billion image settings and 40 million sound profiles to customise audio-visual output based on individual preferences.

Users can expect a tailored experience right from the start, with the AI Remote’s AI Welcome feature greeting users by name and offering personalised recommendations. AI Voice ID further refines convenience by identifying individual voices, switching profiles automatically, and curating content suggestions that align with each user’s preferences.

Smarter connectivity and wireless innovation

Finding content has never been easier with LG’s AI Search, powered by a Large Language Model (LLM), which understands conversational context and delivers accurate search results. Integration with Microsoft Copilot allows users to organise information seamlessly, while the AI Chatbot offers proactive solutions to user queries. The Generative Image Gallery also enables users to create custom TV backgrounds using voice commands.

LG’s webOS platform has been upgraded for 2025, offering an improved home screen with enhanced UI categories and multi-platform integration with ThinQ and Google Home. Users can now manage their smart home devices from one centralised interface. The webOS Re:New programme ensures users continue receiving updates and improvements for up to five years, keeping their smart TVs up to date.

In a major technological leap, LG introduced the world’s first true wireless OLED TV with the OLED evo M5 series. This model supports wireless audio and video transmission at up to 144Hz without compromising quality. This technology has also been extended to QNED TVs, broadening LG’s wireless innovation to a wider audience.

Recognised for innovation and excellence

The 2025 OLED evo series has earned prestigious accolades, including the CES 2025 Best of Innovation Award for the 83G5 model and an Honouree title for the 83M5 model in the Video Display category.

LG’s 2025 OLED evo lineup showcases the brand’s commitment to innovation, personalisation, and delivering exceptional user experiences, setting a new standard for premium home entertainment.
