LG unveils advanced laundry solutions at KBIS 2025

LG unveils its latest heat pump washer and dryer lineup at KBIS 2025, featuring AI-driven efficiency, ventless design, and smart connectivity.

LG Electronics is showcasing its latest range of high-tech laundry solutions at the 2025 Kitchen and Bath Industry Show (KBIS). Designed for the North American market, the new models incorporate LG’s cutting-edge inverter heat pump and AI technology, promising greater efficiency and enhanced convenience for customers. The lineup aligns with LG’s Zero Labor Home vision, offering a diverse selection of appliances tailored to modern household needs.

LG highlights heat pump washer and dryer with ventless design

A key highlight of LG’s showcase is its washer and dryer powered by a dual inverter heat pump, featured in the Zero Venting section of LG’s KBIS booth. These appliances feature a ventless design, making them easier to install and more space-efficient compared to traditional vented models.

The latest laundry solutions also come equipped with Artificial Intelligence Direct Drive (AI DD) technology. This smart system analyses the weight and fabric type of each load to automatically select the most suitable washing and drying settings, delivering optimal cleaning results while simplifying the user experience.

LG SIGNATURE range brings high capacity and premium design

LG is also introducing the SIGNATURE 29-inch laundry solution lineup, which includes a washer and dryer pair along with the WashTower. These appliances boast large capacities, with the washer holding 5.8 cubic feet and the dryer 9.0 cubic feet—the largest in their categories.

For added flexibility, LG’s mini wash and pedestal can be placed directly underneath the washer and dryer, increasing capacity without taking up extra floor space. Both the LG SIGNATURE washer and WashTower feature AI Wash and TurboWash 360°, allowing users to clean more laundry in less time, reducing inefficiencies in daily household chores.

Heat pump dryers improve efficiency and reduce environmental impact

Visitors to the Zero Gas zone at KBIS can explore LG’s latest heat pump dryers, which provide a more energy-efficient alternative to conventional gas-vented dryers. These models use a closed-loop system that recirculates air within the drum, reducing fabric damage, improving efficiency, and lowering the carbon footprint—setting a new standard for sustainable laundry care.

Also on display is the 27-inch LG WashCombo, an all-in-one washer and dryer featuring an inverter heat pump and ventless design. This space-saving appliance offers a sleek, modern look while delivering outstanding washing and drying performance.

Smart connectivity enhances user convenience

All of LG’s new laundry solutions are compatible with the ThinQ app, allowing users to remotely control and monitor their appliances from their smartphones. The app also provides energy tracking and ThinQ Care alerts, notifying users of potential issues before they require costly servicing.

“LG will continue to leverage its advanced heat pump technology to strengthen its leadership in the North American premium home appliance market,” said Lyu Jae-cheol, president of LG Home Appliance Solution Company. “The new laundry solutions we’re displaying at KBIS 2025 illustrate our progress in, and commitment to, realising the Zero Labor Home vision.”
