M1 offers widest broadband range in Singapore

M1 expands its broadband offerings, introducing new 3Gbps, 6Gbps, and 10Gbps plans, providing more options for all types of users.

M1 Limited has expanded its broadband offerings, now boasting the most extensive range of broadband plans in Singapore. M1 announced the launch of three new broadband plans—3Gbps, 6Gbps, and 10Gbps—alongside their existing 1Gbps and 2.5Gbps options. These new plans are designed to meet the diverse internet needs of various households, catering to everyone from casual users to those with more intensive demands, such as competitive gamers and smart home device users.

The introduction of these new plans reflects M1’s ongoing commitment to providing tailored broadband services. Mustafa Kapasi, M1’s Chief Operating Officer, stated, “While meeting growing expectations for the highest broadband speeds is a priority for us, it’s equally important to be customer-centric and offer every household the ability to own a broadband plan that caters to their network needs. We’re happy to offer this bespoke experience that our mobile customers have been enjoying to our home broadband customers as well.”

Faster speeds with advanced technology

M1’s latest 3Gbps, 6Gbps, and 10Gbps plans are powered by XGSPON (10 Gigabit Symmetrical Passive Optical Network), a technology that delivers symmetrical upload and download speeds of up to 10Gbps. This feature makes M1’s offerings stand out in Singapore’s competitive broadband market. Households can now enjoy smoother content sharing, high-definition video streaming, and enhanced performance on multiple devices.

For families with heavy internet usage, including competitive gamers or those using numerous smart home devices, these new plans provide a substantial improvement in network speed and performance. M1’s XGSPON technology ensures low-latency connectivity, making it ideal for those who rely on fast, reliable internet.

Existing M1 broadband users have the option to upgrade seamlessly to any of these new plans, unlocking faster speeds to better suit their household’s internet needs.

Competitive prices and promotional offers

M1 continues to distinguish itself in the market with its competitive pricing and unique 6Gbps plan, which offers users an excellent balance between performance and affordability. The 6Gbps plan exceeds the conventional 5Gbps options available in the market, offering faster speeds at a lower cost. According to M1, this gives households a high-speed alternative without having to compromise on price.

To sweeten the deal, M1 is offering promotional rates for customers who sign up for these new plans. During the promotion, customers will enjoy discounts, waived one-time fees such as registration and installation charges, and receive a free home-fixed voice line. Additionally, all XGSPON plans come with the latest WiFi 7 routers, ensuring top-tier speeds and seamless connectivity for multiple devices within the home.
