OPPO’s Reno13 series launches in Singapore on January 4

[output_post_excerpt]

Get ready to upgrade your mobile experience with the new OPPO Reno13 series, which hits the shelves in Singapore on January 4, 2025. These flagship-lite smartphones boast cutting-edge features and are designed to impress, blending powerful performance with a sleek design.

Performance that packs a punch

At the heart of the Reno13 series is the world’s first customised MediaTek Dimensity 8350 processor. Built on a 4nm process, this chip delivers up to 20% better performance than its predecessor, the Dimensity 7300-Energy, while reducing peak power consumption by 30%. The processor’s 8-core configuration clocked at up to 3.35GHz, ensures the phones can handle even the most demanding tasks.

To keep things running smoothly, OPPO has equipped the series with an AI Multi-Cooling System featuring an expanded vapour chamber (VC) and an Adaptive Temperature Control algorithm. This setup ensures consistent performance, even during intensive gaming sessions.

The Reno13 series stands out with its one-piece sculpted glass back cover, which sports a dual-texture finish to resist fingerprints and enhance grip. Its aerospace-grade aluminium frame provides 36% more resistance to bending and drops than plastic alternatives. The phones are rated IP69 for water and dust resistance, offering durability and reliability in various conditions.

Both models feature stunning 1.5K OLED displays with HDR10+ certification. The Reno13 Pro 5G boasts a 6.83-inch screen, while the Reno13 5G has a slightly smaller 6.59-inch display. The phones deliver smooth visuals with refresh rates up to 120Hz, making them perfect for streaming and gaming.

Cameras built for creativity

The Reno13 series takes smartphone photography to new depths—literally. Its underwater mode allows you to capture stunning shots at a depth of up to 2m for 30 minutes without needing a separate waterproof case. A one-tap drainage mechanism ensures the device is quickly ready for dry use.

The Reno13 Pro 5G features a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilisation (OIS), a 50MP telephoto camera with 3.5x optical zoom, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 50MP selfie camera capable of 4K recording. The standard Reno13 5G replaces the telephoto lens with a 2MP monochrome sensor, but its other specs are equally impressive.

Both models include AI-powered tools like AI Clarity Enhancer for sharpening landscapes, AI Unblur for steady shots, and AI Reflection Remover to reduce glass reflections. You can even transform still photos into 3-second videos using AI Motion, which adds effects or timelapse animations at nearly 2K quality.

OPPO is the first Android brand to support AI Live photo sharing with iOS devices. Thanks to the Tap-to-Share feature, you can seamlessly share Livephotos and documents with iPhones and other devices.

Availability and pricing

The OPPO Reno13 series will be available across various platforms, including OPPO Concept Stores, major telcos like M1, Singtel, and StarHub, and online stores like Lazada and Shopee.

The Reno13 5G (12GB RAM + 512GB storage) costs S$799 and is available in Plum White and Luminous Blue. The Reno13 Pro 5G (12GB RAM + 512GB storage) costs S$999 and is available in Plum Purple and Graphite Grey.
