Razer Fintech rebrands into Fiuu with a focus on pioneering digital payment solutions

Fiuu, formerly Razer Fintech, rebrands to lead in digital payments, aiming to innovate and empower businesses and consumers with new leadership.

Razer Fintech, the tech giant Razer Inc.’s financial arm, along with its B2B payments division Razer Merchant Services (RMS), today announced a major rebranding initiative, adopting the new name, logo, and identity of Fiuu. This change signifies the company’s bold aspirations to lead in the evolving digital payments arena. Positioned as an independent subsidiary under Razer Inc., Fiuu is dedicated to supporting both businesses and consumers with their payment needs, showcasing a strong commitment to developing cutting-edge payment solutions globally.

Leadership for a new era

As part of this transformation, Lee Li Meng steps down as CEO, passing the leadership baton to Eng Sheng Guan, who assumes the role on March 1, 2024. Eng Sheng Guan brings over 25 years of experience in the payments sector to the table, poised to steer Fiuu towards innovation and growth. Under his guidance, Fiuu aims to achieve new milestones in the fintech space, driven by a shared vision of excellence in service and solution delivery.

“Our rebrand goes beyond just a name change; it embodies our vision to Power Future Payments,” Mr. Lee remarked. “With Southeast Asia’s digital economy booming and projected revenue set to hit US$295 billion by 2025, our commitment to innovative payment solutions gains even greater significance.” This strategic move allows Fiuu to progress independently from the Razer brand, which remains focused on gaming. Lee expresses pride in the team’s accomplishments and confidence in Eng Sheng Guan’s ability to lead Fiuu to greater success.

From fintech trailblazer to global influencer

Razer Fintech has been at the forefront of the digital payments revolution in Southeast Asia, driving innovation and establishing key partnerships. The COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 accelerated the need for digital payment solutions, highlighting Fiuu’s commitment to security and innovation. Under Lee’s direction, Fiuu not only doubled its revenue over the last four years but also achieved profitability.

The new branding mirrors Fiuu’s dynamic and youthful spirit, emphasizing its agility and commitment to growth. The refreshed brand identity, with its vibrant colours and “F” starting the name, underscores a continued focus on fintech innovation. Fiuu’s motto, ‘Powering Future Payments’, captures its dedication to offering advanced technological solutions, building trust, and responding to the market’s ever-changing needs.

What the future holds for Fiuu

As Fiuu embarks on this new journey, stakeholders can look forward to updates in payment interfaces, brand visuals, and user experience enhancements. Fiuu remains devoted to driving positive changes in the fintech sector, aiming to be synonymous with innovation and reliability in digital payments.
