Redmi 15 5G debuts in Singapore with large battery, 6.9-inch display and AI-powered tools

Xiaomi launches Redmi 15 5G in Singapore with a 7000mAh battery, 6.9-inch display, AI features and 5G connectivity for everyday use.

Xiaomi has launched the Redmi 15 5G in Singapore, offering a mix of long battery life, immersive display technology, and AI-driven features aimed at everyday users. The new device is available from 8 August across major online platforms and Xiaomi stores, priced at S$249 for the 8GB+256GB variant.

Built for extended use and charging convenience

The Redmi 15 5G is equipped with a 7000mAh battery, Xiaomi’s largest to date, which supports up to two days of regular use. The device also offers 33W fast charging and 18W reverse charging. With the help of Xiaomi’s Smart Charging Engine 2.0 and Battery Health 4.0, the phone is designed to maintain battery performance over the long term. According to Xiaomi, users can still make calls for up to 59 minutes or leave the phone on standby for 7.5 hours even with just 1% remaining battery.

The smartphone features a 6.9-inch FHD+ display with a 144Hz refresh rate and 288Hz touch sampling rate, promising a smooth and responsive visual experience. The screen is TÜV Rheinland certified for Low Blue Light, Flicker-Free viewing, and Circadian Friendly modes, designed to reduce eye strain during extended use.

The handset’s design includes a quad-curved back and metal detailing, combining aesthetics with comfort. It also comes with an IP64 rating for splash and dust resistance, and includes Xiaomi’s Wet Touch Technology 2.0, allowing smooth usage even when the screen or fingers are damp.

Powered by the Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 Mobile Platform, the Redmi 15 5G delivers efficient performance with 5G connectivity. It includes up to 16GB of RAM via memory extension and supports expandable storage up to 2TB, offering flexibility for users who need additional space.

AI imaging and software experience

The Redmi 15 5G is equipped with a 50MP dual AI camera system supported by a suite of creative tools such as AI Erase, AI Sky, and Dynamic Shots. For audio, the phone includes Hi-Res Audio support, Dolby Atmos, and a 200% volume boost for a more immersive listening experience.

The device runs on Xiaomi HyperOS 2 and includes features like Google Gemini integration, Circle to Search, and Xiaomi Interconnectivity. These tools aim to streamline productivity and support seamless usage across Xiaomi devices and supported platforms.

The Redmi 15 5G is available in three colours: Ripple Green, Titan Grey, and Midnight Black. It can be purchased from Xiaomi’s official website, Shopee, Lazada, Xiaomi Stores, and other authorised retailers in Singapore.
