ASUS IoT unveils advanced edge AI solutions at Computex 2024

ASUS IoT unveils its new PE2100N and PE1101N edge AI systems at Computex 2024, offering robust AI performance and versatility for industrial applications.

At the renowned Computex 2024, ASUS IoT revealed its latest PE2100N and PE1101N series of edge AI systems. These robust systems, powered by NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin, NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX, and NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano modules, are crafted to meet the complex demands of various industrial applications.

High-performance and adaptable edge AI systems

The PE2100N series, equipped with NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin, is engineered to deliver top-notch AI capabilities directly at the edge. This series is particularly suitable for industrial environments that demand powerful AI inferencing such as sorting machinery, automated optical inspection, and defect inspection. Optimised for size, weight, and power (SWaP), these systems can operate in extreme temperatures ranging from -25°C to 70°C, ensuring dependable performance under harsh conditions.

Moreover, the PE2100N series offers a range of I/O options, including CANBus, LAN, and PoE ports, making it ideal for traffic management and intelligent security applications. It also supports multiple expansion capabilities, enhancing its functionality with NVMe storage and 5G modules.

Compact and efficient edge AI solutions

On the smaller end of the spectrum, the PE1101N series provides a mini, fanless frame perfect for tight spaces in smart cities and manufacturing sectors. This series, powered by NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX and Orin Nano, is ideal for applications such as electric vehicle chargers, pedestrian safety, and more. It features extensive connectivity options and is equipped with M.2 slots for additional WiFi and Bluetooth capabilities and increased storage.

Both series are compatible with the latest NVIDIA JetPack 6 SDK, which is now production-ready. This software development kit facilitates AI computing upgrades, supports a broader selection of Linux distributions, and enhances platform security.

Long-term support and reliability

ASUS IoT offers cutting-edge technology and ensures comprehensive product and technical support for the long term. With its significant research and development expertise and a robust supply chain, ASUS IoT is prepared to support its customers well into the future. Sample units of both the PE2100N and PE1101N series are expected to be available in August 2024.

ASUS IoT’s new launches at Computex 2024 mark a significant step forward in edge AI technology, providing AI developers with robust tools to boost industrial efficiency and innovation.
