ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) has unveiled a bold new vision for gaming at COMPUTEX 2025 with “The ROG Lab” — an immersive, innovation-driven booth that explores the evolving relationship between gamers and technology. With a blend of conceptual hardware, AI-powered experiences, and next-generation gear, the showcase reflects ROG’s continued ambition to push the boundaries of gaming design and performance.
Exploring creativity through technology
Located at the centre of the ROG Lab was APEX Craft, a futuristic installation symbolising the creation of new ideas. It featured ROG’s latest design-led concepts including the ROG Astral GeForce RTX 5090 with a quad-fan setup and the compact, high-powered Flow Z13 2-in-1 gaming tablet powered by the AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 processor.
Surrounding the hub were five interactive zones—Future Gamer, Illumotion, Mechano, Humanlink, and CodeVerse—each focusing on a distinct facet of gaming. Future Gamer allowed visitors to create personalised digital avatars and printed gamer identity cards, while Illumotion transformed text into dynamic visuals using AI and ASUS Aura Sync lighting. The Mechano zone introduced Omni, a robot built from actual PC components that functioned as a fully operational computer. CodeVerse showcased the visual language of ROG using real-time AI motion capture, and Humanlink highlighted the brand’s focus on user-centred design through extensively tested accessories.
ROG’s commitment to innovation was recognised at the COMPUTEX Best Choice Awards 2025, with accolades for the Harpe II Ace wireless mouse for sustainable design, as well as the ROG Strix Ace XG248QSG monitor, Falcata split keyboard, and Zephyrus G14 laptop.
New gear for next-gen performance
At COMPUTEX 2025, ASUS presented a comprehensive lineup of ROG and TUF Gaming hardware powered by NVIDIA’s new RTX 50 Series graphics. These included cable-free BTF (Back to the Future) builds with modular designs, offering greater customisability and a cleaner aesthetic. Leading the charge were the ROG Astral GeForce RTX 5090 BTF Edition and the TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 5070 Ti BTF White Edition, which come with a detachable GC-HPWR adapter and support up to 1000W power delivery.
ROG also introduced high-end AMD motherboards such as the Crosshair X870E Extreme and Strix X870E-H Gaming WiFi 7, paired with Ryuo IV coolers that featured a 2K AMOLED curved display with 3D visuals. Concept products like a wireless fan controller and AIO liquid cooler demonstrated ASUS’s effort to simplify PC builds and reduce visible cable clutter.
The ROG XG Station 3 (Thunderbolt 5) external GPU dock was launched for users looking to upgrade their laptop’s graphics without sacrificing portability. With support for up to 80 Gbps bandwidth and compatibility with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 and AMD Radeon RX 9000 Series GPUs, it combines performance and convenience for professional gamers and creators.
Gaming monitors and peripherals for every play style
The ROG Strix Ace XG248QSG, the world’s fastest gaming monitor, made its debut with a 610Hz refresh rate, 0.1ms response time, and enhanced colour reproduction using Super TN panel technology. It also supports multiple VRR technologies and features a compact stand to save desk space. Meanwhile, the ultrawide ROG Strix OLED XG34WCDMTG offered QD-OLED visuals, Dolby Atmos, Google TV integration, and GeForce Now for cloud gaming.
ROG introduced a new generation of accessories aimed at pro gamers. The Falcata split gaming keyboard features hot-swappable magnetic switches, up to 610 hours of battery life, and adjustable ergonomics, while the Harpe II Ace mouse was developed with esports players, offering 8,000Hz polling, lightweight bio-based construction, and customisable features for high-precision gameplay. Paired with the Sheath II XXL mouse pad, ROG’s peripheral lineup is designed for both performance and comfort.
Complementing the experience were ROG gaming chairs like the Courser, which integrates RGB lighting, 4D armrests, and a wide recline range, and the Moonlight White Destrier Core, which completes the brand’s all-white peripheral collection.
Devices for portable and mobile gaming
Beyond desktops, ASUS highlighted its next-generation ROG laptops and handheld devices powered by RTX 50 Series GPUs. These included the flagship Strix SCAR 16/18 and ultraportable Zephyrus G14 and G16 models, alongside Flow Z13 tablets and XG Mobile external GPUs. Desktop models such as the ROG G700 were powered by AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D or Intel Ultra 9 285K processors and up to RTX 5090 graphics.
Handheld gaming was elevated with the ROG Ally X, supported by a new 7-in-1 Dock for extended connectivity and an all-in-one 100W charger. Meanwhile, the ROG Phone 9 and 9 Pro introduced advanced gaming features backed by Snapdragon 8 Elite processors, including AI tools like X Sense 3.0 and GameCool 9 thermal technology.
ASUS also highlighted the TUF Gaming range, featuring RTX 5060 laptops like the A16 and F16, and desktops like the TUF Gaming T500. These devices were built for durability and everyday gaming. The TUF-BE9400 WiFi 7 tri-band router also debuted, offering fast speeds, game prioritisation, and integrated VPN services.
Completing the showcase was the Hatsune Miku x TUF Gaming collaboration, blending anime-inspired aesthetics with TUF’s signature rugged performance across headsets, mice, and keyboards.
