ASUS VivoWatch 6 brings advanced health monitoring to Singapore

The ASUS VivoWatch 6 launches in Singapore with advanced sensors, a stylish design, and 24/7 health tracking for a comprehensive wellness experience.

ASUS unveiled the new ASUS VivoWatch 6 in Singapore on September 2, 2024, marking a significant step forward in wearable technology. This health and wellness tracker is designed to provide comprehensive sensors and features that support 24/7 monitoring of your vital health metrics. From measuring your heart’s electrical activity to analysing body composition, the ASUS VivoWatch 6 offers a range of tools to help you stay on top of your health.

Advanced sensors for precise health tracking

The ASUS VivoWatch 6 introduces several new sensors that make it easier for you to monitor your health. Among the standout features are medical-grade ECG (electrocardiogram) and PPG (photoplethysmogram) sensors, which provide fingertip measurements for heart-related metrics often unavailable in other wearable devices. These sensors are designed to accurately read your heart’s electrical activity and blood volume changes.

Additionally, the watch includes a bioelectrical impedance analysis (BIA) sensor that measures body composition, including muscle, bone, fat, water, and basal metabolic rate. By placing your thumb and index finger on the watch face, you can quickly get detailed insights into your body’s composition, offering a more comprehensive picture of your health.

A complete health companion

The ASUS VivoWatch 6 is not just about tracking physical metrics; it also monitors your mental well-being. It includes a Relaxation Index that measures short-term stress levels by analysing heart rate variability (HRV). For those looking to understand their emotional state better, the watch offers a weekly Body Harmony Analysis, which tracks your daily emotional state over a week.

ASUS has integrated all these sensors into a one-touch design, allowing you to access all key readings — blood pressure, ECG, body composition, heart rate, and SpO2 — in a quick session. This all-in-one functionality makes it incredibly easy to keep tabs on your overall health without needing multiple devices. Additionally, the watch features a backplate sensor that supports continuous monitoring of your health, with readings taken at five minutes to two hours, ensuring you receive accurate, real-time data.

Stylish design meets practical functionality

The ASUS VivoWatch 6 is designed to complement your style while providing robust functionality. It features a 1.39-inch AMOLED round display protected by durable Gorilla Glass, offering a resolution of 454 x 454 pixels and a brightness of 350 nits, ensuring clear visibility even in bright sunlight. Under the hood, it boasts a 290mAh battery that delivers up to nine days of use on a regular setting and up to 14 days in power-saving mode.

Compatible with both iOS and Android devices, the ASUS VivoWatch 6 uses the ASUS HealthConnect app to display your health data, making it easy to track and manage your health on your preferred smartphone. In addition to its advanced health sensors, the watch offers all the standard features you would expect from a modern health tracker, including sleep monitoring, continuous heart rate tracking, sports tracking (such as walking, cycling, yoga, and water sports), and a 5ATM water resistance rating, making it suitable for swimming and other water-based activities.

Available from mid-September 2024, the ASUS VivoWatch 6 is priced at S$499. You can purchase it through the official ASUS website and selected retail outlets in Singapore. With its blend of advanced health features, stylish design, and compatibility with all major smartphones, the ASUS VivoWatch 6 is poised to be a popular choice for those seeking to enhance their health and wellness journey.
