Discover the AI-enabled ASUS Vivobook S15: A new era in laptops

Experience the ASUS Vivobook S15, an AI-enabled laptop with real-time video upscaling, live captions, and advanced productivity features.

Whether you’re editing photos, planning a vacation, or writing an email, you’ve likely used artificial intelligence (AI) to help with a task. Usually, accessing these AI tools involves using apps or visiting specific websites.

Now, a new generation of AI-enabled laptops is set to change how we use AI by integrating it directly into the hardware and software of the machine. Introducing the ASUS Vivobook S15, the brand’s first Microsoft Copilot+ laptop. This innovative device allows you to use AI technology for various tasks at work and play without needing to connect to the Internet.

Level up productivity with built-in AI

This sleek notebook is powered by a Snapdragon X Elite processor with a built-in Qualcomm Hexagon Neural Processing Unit (NPU), a component dedicated to efficiently accelerating AI functions. Unlike traditional laptops powered by Intel or AMD, this processor comes from Qualcomm, the brand behind leading Android smartphones.

The Snapdragon X Elite processor is crucial for Microsoft’s Copilot+ AI PC initiative, allowing you to access a suite of Microsoft Copilot’s AI software tools and features. AI PCs are a new offering, and Microsoft is partnering exclusively with Qualcomm for the initial launch of Copilot+ laptops.

So, what does an AI PC like the Vivobook S15 offer?

With Copilot’s Live Captions, you can automatically add video subtitles in real-time. This function translates 44 languages into English, ensuring you never miss a beat during video calls or watching foreign dramas. Content creators will love StoryCube, an AI tool created by ASUS that helps you manage digital media files, such as photos and videos, by automatically sorting images by theme and identifying people in photos.

To keep your work secure, the Vivobook S15’s AiSense IR Camera includes an Adaptive Lock feature that locks the screen when you move away and unlocks it when you return. Additionally, adaptive dimming dims the screen when you look away, securing content on the screen and conserving battery life.

Enhance your creativity and playtime

Digital art enthusiasts can bring their creative ideas to life with Cocreator, an AI tool part of the Windows Copilot suite that turns rough sketches into complete images using AI. For gamers, Copilot’s Automatic Super Resolution function upscales PC game graphics in real-time, delivering higher-definition and higher frame-rate gaming experiences. As the graphics are automatically enhanced, there’s no need to adjust in-game display settings for optimal visuals.

Equipped with the latest WiFi 7 technology, the Vivobook S15 is designed for high-speed web browsing and gaming. Its 1TB storage capacity accommodates large creative files or games, while streamers can enjoy smoother streaming and enhanced visuals on the 15.6-inch 3K resolution OLED screen.

The large touchpad, programmed with specialised gestures, gives you complete control of all your media files at your fingertips. You can slide your finger across the touchpad to control video playback, screen brightness, volume settings, and more. The Vivobook S15’s single-zone RGB backlit keyboard can be customised for different moods to add a personal touch.

Effortless portability and power

Regarding battery life, the laptop’s 70Wh battery provides up to 18 hours of productivity. The ASUS USB-C Easy Charge port supports fast charging from almost any power source. Weighing 1.42 kg and measuring 14.7 mm thin (less than the thickness of two pencils), the Vivobook S15 is perfect for remote work. Its unibody chassis design, crafted from a single piece of machined metal, makes it a more robust and sturdier device that is more resistant to wear and tear.

Whether at home or on the road, the Vivobook S15’s comprehensive set of input/output (I/O) ports and a built-in SD card reader make connecting to multiple accessories and hardware straightforward. Dual USB4 ports support fast charging and can connect to 4K external displays, with data transfer speeds of up to 40Gbps, enabling smoother, lag-free high-definition video playback.
