eero launches new mesh WiFi systems in Singapore

eero introduces the eero Max 7 and eero Pro 6E in Singapore, offering fast, reliable, and secure WiFi with easy setup for homes and businesses.

eero, an Amazon subsidiary, has announced the launch of its high-performance mesh WiFi systems. These new products, eero Max 7 and eero Pro 6E, are now available for purchase directly from local stores. Eero’s latest offerings promise unparalleled WiFi speed, extensive coverage, and a user-friendly experience, aiming to cater to the diverse needs of gamers, smart home enthusiasts, and business owners across the country.

Unveiling the eero Max 7 and eero Pro 6E

The eero Max 7, a standout product, leverages the latest Wi-Fi 7 standard alongside eero’s patented networking technology. This combination is designed to enhance speed dramatically, reduce interference from nearby networks, and improve mesh latency. Remarkably, the eero Max 7 supports downloading a 4K movie in just 10 seconds or a 50-gigabyte video game in under a minute, courtesy of its 10 Gigabit Ethernet capability. The device also supports 2.4, 5, and 6 GHz radio bands, offering wireless speeds up to 4.3 Gbps and wired speeds up to 9.4 Gbps. With two 10 and two 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet ports, the eero Max 7 can support multiple wired devices and is ideal for internet plans up to 10 Gbps. It covers up to 230 square metres and can support more than 200 connected devices, making it suitable for both large homes and small businesses.

On the other hand, the eero Pro 6E targets everyday users with its premium WiFi performance. Supporting multi-gigabit internet plans, it offers network speeds up to 2.3 Gbps—1 gigabit wired and 1.3 Gbps wireless—and provides 6 GHz connectivity for newer devices, ensuring faster speeds and reduced network congestion. The eero Pro 6E also features an auto-sensing 2.5 GbE and 1.0 GbE ports for wired connections and can cover up to 190 square metres while supporting up to 100 devices simultaneously.

Advanced features for enhanced connectivity

Both the eero Max 7 and eero Pro 6E boast a suite of features designed to provide seamless connectivity and enhanced user experience. These include compatibility with major internet service provider plans and backward compatibility with previous eero devices. This allows users to expand or upgrade their networks easily as their WiFi needs evolve. The devices also employ eero’s patented TrueMesh technology, which optimizes data routing through the network and minimizes interference, combined with TrueChannel and TrueRoam capabilities to ensure smooth connectivity throughout the user’s premises.

Eero continues to prioritize security with automatic software updates that include the latest security patches, bug fixes, and new features. The devices also support smart home connectivity, acting as a Thread Border Router and featuring a built-in Zigbee smart home hub, allowing users to connect compatible devices effortlessly.

Availability and pricing

The eero Max 7 and eero Pro 6E are available for purchase at eerostore.sg, Amazon.sg, and other ecommerce platforms like Shopee and Lazada through Kaira Technologies. They are priced at S$799.99 for a single eero Max 7, S$1,499.00 for a two-pack, and S$2,049.00 for a three-pack. The eero Pro 6E is available for S$359.99 for one, S$649.00 for a two-pack, and S$799.99 for a three-pack.
