POCO launches M7 smartphone in Singapore with large battery and enhanced features

POCO launches M7 in Singapore with a 7000mAh battery, large display, upgraded performance and early bird prices from S$179.

POCO has launched its latest smartphone, the POCO M7, in Singapore, targeting young consumers with a combination of long battery life, entertainment upgrades and an eye-catching design. The device introduces new technology aimed at delivering all-day endurance, smooth performance and immersive visuals, while keeping its price competitive.

Long-lasting power with fast and intelligent charging

The POCO M7 is equipped with a 7000mAh battery that uses advanced 5% silicon-carbon technology, designed to power up to two days of regular use. This flagship-grade battery offers up to 28 hours of video playback or 46 hours of call time. A dedicated BatteryExtender Chip supports a 3.0V low-voltage shutdown to reduce wear, allowing the phone to maintain up to 14 hours of video playback even at -20°C. At just 1% battery, it can still deliver 64 minutes of call time or 10 hours on standby.

Charging is supported by 33W fast charging and 18W reverse charging, enabling the M7 to power other compatible devices. The Battery Health 4.0 system adjusts charging strategies to extend battery life, while features such as Zero Power Instant On allow the phone to restart quickly after a complete drain. Boost Charging mode accelerates charging when the battery drops below 40%.

Big-screen entertainment with improved audio

The POCO M7 features a 6.9-inch FHD+ display, the largest in the M series, offering a cinematic viewing experience. AdaptiveSync technology automatically adjusts the refresh rate across nine levels, up to 144Hz, for smooth visuals. The display is certified by TÜV Rheinland for low blue light, flicker-free viewing and circadian rhythm support.

Audio is enhanced with Hi-Res Audio certification and a 200% volume boost, giving users louder and clearer sound whether watching videos, gaming or listening to music.

Futuristic design and upgraded performance

Available in Silver, Blue and Black, the POCO M7’s design blends style with practicality. The Silver model includes blue and red accents, the Blue version has a mecha-inspired theme, and the Black variant offers a minimalist look. All models have IP64-rated dust and water resistance.

The device runs on a Snapdragon 685 processor and Xiaomi’s HyperOS 2 for improved efficiency. It also introduces the Google Gemini AI assistant and Circle to Search with Google for productivity and creativity. Memory is expandable up to 16GB RAM (based on the 8GB variant) and storage supports expansion up to 2TB.

For photography, the M7 is equipped with a 50MP dual rear camera and an 8MP front camera, with features including Auto Night Mode, Selfie Beauty Mode and Dynamic Shots.

Availability and pricing

The POCO M7 is available in two configurations: 6GB RAM with 128GB storage and 8GB RAM with 256GB storage. From 14 August (8:00 PM) to 27 August, early bird prices are set at S$179 for the base model and S$209 for the higher variant, available on mi.com, Shopee and Lazada. The usual retail prices are S$199 and S$229 respectively.
