POCO launches POCO F7 in Singapore with new design and flagship performance

POCO launches the F7 in Singapore, offering flagship power, a refreshed design, and advanced features at an accessible price.

POCO has officially introduced the POCO F7 in Singapore, showcasing a refreshed look and major hardware upgrades. The new smartphone features the latest Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 Mobile Platform and a bold Cyber Silver Edition, positioning itself as a flagship-grade offering at an accessible price point.

Alongside the device launch, POCO also revealed its first virtual avatar, Rydr, symbolising the brand’s commitment to speed, performance and deeper engagement with younger tech-savvy consumers.

Powered for performance and built to last

At the heart of the POCO F7 is the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 Mobile Platform, delivering improved performance and power efficiency. With an AnTuTu score of over two million, the phone promises a more than 30% performance boost compared to its predecessor. To manage heat effectively, it features a 6000mm² 3D Dual-Channel IceLoop cooling system—the largest of its kind in any POCO phone to date.

The device also comes equipped with a 6500mAh battery, the biggest ever in the POCO F series. It supports 90W HyperCharge, which charges the phone to 80% in just 30 minutes, and 22.5W reverse charging for added convenience. Connectivity is bolstered by the Surge T1s signal tuner, improving cellular, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth performance.

On the software side, the POCO F7 runs on Xiaomi HyperOS 2, with gaming enhancements delivered via WildBoost Optimisation 4.0. Users can expect up to 120FPS in games like Genshin Impact with support for 1.5K Super Resolution and Smart Frame Rate.

Display and design enhancements

The POCO F7 features a 6.83-inch ultra-bright display with 1.5K resolution and a peak brightness of 3200 nits. Enhanced by Sunlight Display 4.0, the screen remains readable in bright environments and maintains vibrant visuals. The display also includes TÜV Rheinland certifications for low blue light, flicker-free viewing, and circadian-friendly use, supporting long viewing sessions with reduced eye strain.

Its 3840Hz PWM dimming and Wet Touch Display 2.0 ensure smooth performance across use cases, even with wet hands. With a 2560Hz instant touch sampling rate under Game Turbo Mode, the phone caters to gamers demanding fast response times.

On the design front, the POCO F7 takes inspiration from movement and speed. It sports a CNC-integrated aluminium alloy frame and a glass back with geometric accents. The Cyber Silver Edition makes a statement with its mechanical aesthetic and Snapdragon logo, highlighting the power behind the device. It also features a 94.23% screen-to-body ratio and reinforced structure rated to withstand up to 70kg of pressure. An IP68 rating adds dust and water resistance for enhanced durability.

Imaging capabilities and availability

The POCO F7 includes a 50MP Sony IMX882 main camera with optical image stabilisation. Additional features such as UltraSnap, Live Photo, and multiple portrait focal lengths (26mm, 35mm, and 52mm) enhance flexibility. The AI Beautify tool improves photo quality by adjusting tone, clarity, and brightness, while the redesigned camera interface streamlines the user experience.

The device is available in three colours—Black, White, and Cyber Silver—with two storage options: 12GB+256GB (S$559) and 12GB+512GB (S$599). From 9PM on 24 June to 9 July 2025, early bird prices will apply exclusively on mi.com and Shopee, with an additional S$30 discount voucher while stocks last.
