Samsung announces One UI 7 update for Galaxy Z Flip6, Fold6, S23 series, and more

Samsung confirms One UI 7 update for Galaxy Z Flip6, Fold6, S23 series, and more, with a beta launch in select regions before the April 2025 release.

Samsung users can now look forward to the highly anticipated One UI 7 update, set to roll out in April 2025. The update will bring new features and enhancements to a range of Samsung devices, including flagship and mid-range models.

Samsung has confirmed that the One UI 7 update will be available for many devices. These include the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6, Galaxy Z Flip6, the entire Galaxy S23 series (S23, S23+, and S23 Ultra), the Galaxy Tab S10 series, and the mid-range Galaxy A55.

Users of these devices can expect improvements similar to those seen in Samsung’s latest flagship, the Galaxy S25 series. While the exact list of features has not been detailed, Samsung has promised a more intuitive user experience with One UI 7.

Beta version available before full release

Before the official rollout, Samsung will launch a beta version of One UI 7 for testing. This beta programme will be available exclusively to Samsung Members in India, South Korea, and the U.K. To participate, users must already have a Samsung Members account, which is typically created when setting up a Samsung device.

The beta phase allows Samsung to gather user feedback and make necessary refinements before the full release. This means users in the mentioned regions will get an early look at the new software and its features before the global rollout begins.

What to expect from One UI 7

Although Samsung has not provided a complete list of features coming with One UI 7, it has hinted at key improvements. The update will include the Now Bar and Now Notifications, two features designed to make interactions smoother and more intuitive. Samsung has stated that One UI 7 will make “every interaction feel more intuitive than ever before,” suggesting that usability and ease of access will be central to the update.

The update will also likely include performance enhancements, bug fixes, and interface refinements to improve users’ overall experience.

Samsung users can expect a smoother experience

With One UI 7, Samsung aims to refine its user interface and improve its customers’ experience. While full details on the update are yet to be revealed, eligible device owners can rest assured that they will soon receive a more streamlined and intuitive version of Samsung’s software.

For those eager to try the update early, signing up for the beta programme in eligible regions will be the best way to get a first look at One UI 7’s new features. The official release for all supported devices is set for April 2025.
