SITEX 2019: Introducing two new experiential zones to the consumer lifestyle IT exhibition

[output_post_excerpt]

SITEX is back this year with its 2019 edition, introducing two new zones – the Health and Wellness Zone and the Travel Tech & Portable Audio Zone. These new additions will join the Smart Home and Living, and Gaming Zones to form a more immersive and innovative space for all to experience technology in new and exciting ways.

Jointly organized by SingEx Exhibitions and SG Tech, the consumer lifestyle IT exhibition is one of Singapore’s biggest IT event which aims to connect technology and lifestyle into a single element, offering new innovations and digital transformations to consumers.

SITEX 2019 - Event

Fondly coined as Your Digital Playground for the last 30 years, SITEX is not your average IT exhibition. Last year’s SITEX was the exhibition’s 30th edition which the organizers claimed as the biggest event yet, partnering with notable technology company like Google to bring some of the coolest technology to consumers that can make daily household chores much easier. They have also worked with VIRO Green to kickstart an eco-friendly initiative to recycle old IT gadgets.

This year, the organizers planned to push the boundaries even further by offering a more refreshed experience with elevated product offerings themed to four main lifestyle categories or Experiential Zones – Smart Home and Living, Gaming, Health and Wellness, and Travel Tech and Portable Audio.

Health and Wellness Zone – #HealthWellness

Fight Zone – an innovative and fast-paced solution to working professionals’ fitness and health needs

The new Health and Wellness zone features a wide variety of contemporary fitness gear and equipment that will pair well with any fitness regime. Imagine how you can incorporate data into your workout to increase your effectiveness and efficiency. This technology is what Fight Zone, a Muay Thai fitness studio, uses where they leverage on wearables to track and provide customers with real-time analytical data to enhance their workout.

The new zone also features Dr.stretch, the stretching specialists that teach a unique Core Balance Stretch that allows practitioners to access their core muscles to increase flexibility, reduce pain, and speed-up muscle recovery. This technique originated in the United States and was further developed in Japan by Mr. Genki Yamaguchi who worked as a trainer for Major League Baseball (MLB) team, the Boston Red Socks.

Travel Tech and Portable Audio Zone – #TravelTechPortableAudio

Back in action from its debut launch in 2018, the Travel Tech and Portable Audio Zone have been combined this year to form a more extensive range of gadgets that caters to the active individual. The large selection of product catering offers the travel nomad ways to make their commute smarter, more enjoyable, and even more environmentally sustainable.
