Asus ROG unveils new Zephyrus Duo and updated G-series laptops at CES
Asus ROG unveils Zephyrus Duo, updated G-series laptops, and Kojima-themed gaming products at CES 2026.
Asus ROG marked its 20th appearance at CES with a range of new gaming laptops, headlined by a refreshed Zephyrus Duo. The latest version of the dual-screen laptop builds on the brand’s previous innovations, now featuring two 3K ROG Nebula HDR OLED displays that run at 120Hz. Unlike earlier models, the keyboard is now a separate magnetic module, allowing for more flexible use.
The Zephyrus Duo supports multiple operating modes tailored to its dual-screen design. Laptop Mode utilises only the main display, while Dual Screen Mode treats both screens as independent monitors. A new Tent Mode allows two users to play simultaneously, with each screen facing opposite directions. Internally, the device is powered by Intel’s Core Ultra 9 386H processor with 16 cores and a Turbo Boost of up to 4.9GHz. Users can choose between the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti and RTX 5090 graphics cards.
Updated G14 and G16 laptops offer higher GPU performance
Alongside the Zephyrus Duo, Asus also updated its popular G14 and G16 laptops. The G14 can be equipped with up to an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080 GPU, while the G16 can reach RTX 5090 levels. Both models feature Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors, with the G14 also offering a version powered by a next-generation AMD Ryzen AI processor, likely from the Ryzen AI 400 series.
The 2025 refresh increases the maximum GPU TDP for both models, with the G14 rising from 120W to 130W and the G16 from 130W to 160W. These changes aim to deliver higher performance for gaming and content creation. Asus has not yet announced pricing or release dates for the Zephyrus Duo or the new G-series laptops.
ROG collaborates with Kojima Productions on new designs
In an unexpected partnership, Asus ROG has joined forces with Hideo Kojima’s studio to produce a series of limited-edition gaming products inspired by the studio’s mascot, Ludens. The highlight is the ROG Flow Z13-KJP, which retains its AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 processor and Radeon 8060S graphics but features a chassis redesigned by Yoji Shinkawa, the original designer of Ludens.
The collaboration extends to peripherals, including the ROG Delta II-KJP headset, ROG Keris II Origin-KJP wireless mouse, and ROG Scabbard II XXL-KJP mousepad. All share a white, gold, and black colour scheme, accented with intricate details to reflect the Kojima Productions aesthetic. Asus has not yet disclosed availability or pricing for these products.
