When we want to be focused and concentrated on our work, we like to isolate ourselves completely from any noises around us. This is why getting a set of excellent noise-canceling headphones is something we all should consider if we haven’t done it already. All the talking around you and the usual office sounds can distract you when you are in the office. Or even at home, when you are alone, using such headphones just to turn the world off helps keep yourself focused.

There are many kinds of headphones like earbuds, over-ear ones, wired and wireless options, and more. You can find many great options in Singapore, even under S$150. Even though those might be considered on the cheaper end of the price range, this doesn’t mean that they are not an excellent option. They offer ANC or active noise cancellation, which is the functionality you would look for in noise-canceling headphones. Let’s check out some of the great options.

Anker SoundCore Life Q30

Best noise-canceling headphones under S$150 in Singapore (2022) - 1

For the price of under S$150, Anker SoundCore Life Q30 is probably one of the best options you can get. The sound quality is excellent and very clear. The bass is not as good as you might hope for, but it is still more than enough to have a pleasant listening experience. The noise-canceling functionality is more than great, and you will be able to completely cut yourself from the world and ignore all the sounds around you.

Anker SoundCore Life Q30’s design is very clean and will fit almost everyone. The battery can last up to 40 hours, and it can be fastly charged with a USB-C charger. We should mention that even though the headphones are pretty good at isolating the surrounding noises, the mic is not that good at this part. So, this might be an issue if you want to lead some calls in a noisier environment.

Samsung Galaxy Buds 2

Best noise-canceling headphones under S$150 in Singapore (2022) - 2

If you are looking for an earbud with a noise-canceling option, this is a perfect choice. Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 comes in four colors — graphite, olive, white and lavender and are very beautiful. Get this one if you want smaller headphones that you can carry everywhere. The compact charging case comes with a newer model, and it charges the headphones quite quickly.

If you have tried Buds Pro before, then this is an option that is very close to it but offers the active noise canceling option. This is maybe the first model of the Samsung Buds that offers such an excellent sound-canceling level. The earbuds come in three sizes of ear cushions to fit every ear the best. The listening time is around 5 hours, and once the case is fully charged, it can charge your headphones 3 times and guarantee you 15 hours of listing time.

Sennheiser CX Plus

Sennheiser is a very popular brand, and its headphones are known to offer great noise-canceling functionality. Sennheiser CX Plus is not an exception to the case. They fall a bit behind compared to Momentum True Wireless II in some specifications but are still a great option that’s also a bit cheaper. The design is nearly identical to its predecessor, CX, but why change something people love?

The battery life is very long, and it can last up to 24 hours. If you use the noise-canceling functionality is active all the time, it will last a bit shorter but still will be more than enough to last one full working day. It comes in 4 sizes of ear adapters, and you can customize the touch controls. It is very easy to customize the earbuds with the application of Sennheiser.

Sennheiser 450BT

Best noise-canceling headphones under S$150 in Singapore (2022) - 3

Let’s continue with Sennheiser, but this time, an over-ear option. Sennheiser 450BT is great if you would like to disconnect from the world around you completely. The battery is very long-lasting — up to 30 hours with noise-canceling on. You can charge them quite fast with USB-C charging. The sound is very clear, and you will enjoy listing to music or movies with them. On top of that, the microphone is also very good and will be perfect for business calls. The bass might not be great, but it will be more than enough.

You can again do some customizations with the help of the Sennheiser application. You can create different sound modes and switch between them. You can also check the battery status in the app and know when you have to recharge your headphones. Sennheiser 450BT feels very comfortable on your head and is very soft, so even if you wear them all day long, you won’t feel any issues with comfort.

Jabra Elite Active 75t

Best noise-canceling headphones under S$150 in Singapore (2022) - 4

Another earbud option but this time from Jabra. The Jabra Elite Active 75t can last for up to 7 hours with one charge and with the case recharging them up to 28 hours. Recharging the case and the headphones is very quick. The earbuds work fine even from a bigger range of up to 30 feet which is impressive considering that most lose connection around 20 feet from the connected device.

The noise-canceling s tremendous, and you will be able to ignore the biggest part of the ambient sounds. You can adjust many of the settings with the Jabra Sound+ app and make sure your listening experience is as personalized as you would like it to be. The sound quality is excellent and very clear. The bass is also very distinguished, so this is a perfect option for all music lovers.

JBL Live 660NC

Last but not least, we will mention JBL Live 660NC, a great over-ear option with strong noise cancellation. The headphones’ battery can last up to 40 hours with active noise-canceling turned on and 50 hours without it. The bass here is just excellent, but not at the expense of the sound quality. JBL also has a companion app that lets you personalize your listing experience.

We should mention that the headphones are a bit tight, and if you wear them all day long, you might feel too much pressure. The microphone is also quite good and will cancel the noise around you when you speak. You can those headphones in blue, black, and white depending on your preferences.
