Chipolo’s bright new tracker now works with both Apple and Google networks

Chipolo’s new Pop tracker now works with both Apple and Google networks. It has a longer range, bright colours, and helpful features.

If you’ve ever misplaced your keys or left your bag behind, you’ll know the stress it can cause. Now, there’s good news. Chipolo has launched a new Bluetooth tracker called the Chipolo Pop that works with both Apple’s Find My and Google’s Find My Device networks. This means you no longer need to choose between two versions for Apple users and Android. With the Pop, you get the best of both worlds in one small device.

Works with Apple and Google — but one at a time

In the past, Chipolo made three separate tracker models. The Chipolo One, priced at US$25, used the brand’s app and network. Then there was the Chipolo One Spot, which cost US$28 and was only for Apple’s Find My app. The Chipolo One Point, also at US$28, worked with Google’s Find My Device.

Now, with the Chipolo Pop, you can use either Apple or Google’s network—although not both. Still, it means you don’t have to worry about buying the wrong one for your phone. At just US$29, it’s slightly more expensive than the older models, but it offers far more flexibility and convenience.

Bright, durable, and easy to find

The Chipolo Pop is a small, circular tracker that’s 1.53 inches wide — just a bit bigger than a quarter — and about a quarter of an inch thick. It comes in fun colours like blue, black, green, red, white, and yellow, so it’s easy to spot. You can clip it to anything you don’t want to lose — keys, bags, or your pet’s collar.

It runs on a user-replaceable CR2032 coin cell battery, which gives it a full year of use before you need to replace it. And if you drop it or take it out in the rain, you don’t need to worry — it has an IP55 rating, making it resistant to water and dust. Just remember it’s not waterproof so it won’t survive a swim.

You can find your things faster and farther away with a loud 120dB alarm and a Bluetooth range of up to 300 feet (compared to 200 feet on older models). That extra range makes it more reliable, especially when searching for your belongings around the house or garden.

Extra features through the Chipolo app

While the Pop works well with Apple and Google’s tracking apps, you can also use Chipolo’s own app, which has a few handy extra features.

For example, you can change the tracker’s sound when pinging it, which is great if you want something different or easier to hear. Android users can even get a notification if they leave something behind—a useful feature when rushing out the door. You can also use the Pop as a remote shutter for your phone’s camera, perfect for group selfies or steady shots. And if you misplace your phone, squeeze the Pop twice to make your phone ring, even if it’s on silent.

So, whether you’re an iPhone or Android user, the Chipolo Pop is a smart, colourful, and flexible choice to help you keep track of your belongings. It’s a small device with big benefits — and with its new network compatibility, it’s more useful than ever.
