Honor 400 and 400 Pro arrive in Singapore with a strong focus on photography, AI, and long battery life

The Honor 400 and 400 Pro are now available in Singapore. They feature AI-powered cameras, 6,000mAh batteries, and powerful photography and editing tools.

Honor has officially launched the Honor 400 and Honor 400 Pro in Singapore, adding two new smartphones to its flagship-lite number series for 2025. With a strong emphasis on AI-driven photography and powerful battery life, both devices aim at users who want cutting-edge camera features without compromising everyday performance.

Here’s everything you need to know about these two new models.

Stunning cameras powered by AI

Both models are equipped with impressive camera hardware when it comes to photography. The Honor 400 features a 200MP main camera with optical and electronic image stabilisation alongside a 12MP ultra-wide lens that also works as a macro camera. The Honor 400 Pro goes a step further, adding a 50MP telephoto lens using Sony’s IMX856 sensor. This offers 3x optical zoom with stabilisation, perfect for capturing detailed zoom shots.

Selfie lovers won’t be disappointed either. Both phones have a 50MP front-facing Portrait Selfie camera, supported by Honor’s AI portrait algorithms for polished, professional-looking selfies.

Honor’s AI Image Engine adds more depth to your photos. The Honor 400 Pro can digitally zoom up to 50x, while the standard model reaches 30x without a dedicated zoom lens. The AI Portrait Snap feature also ensures that moving subjects remain sharp in portrait mode.

The popular Harcourt Portrait returns as Harcourt Portrait 2.0. This feature, developed in collaboration with the French photo studio, enhances lighting and colour options. The Pro model also includes an AI Enhanced Portrait tool to fine-tune colours further.

New AI features and smarter photo editing

Honor has partnered with Google to bring even more AI tools to its camera suite. You’ll get access to AI Image to Video, which creates short five-second videos from static images. Powered by Google’s Veo 2 technology, this feature is available up to 10 times a day for free during the first two months.

Another exciting addition is HD Moving Photo, Honor’s answer to Apple’s Live Photos. The new Moving Photo Collage feature allows you to turn these moving images into collages.

For editing, you can try AI Cutout, which isolates subjects from the background, and AI Eraser 2.0, which helps remove unwanted reflections or people, enhances image resolution, and extends the scene with generative fill.

Productivity tools haven’t been left out, either. You can use AI Translation to convert text in up to 14 languages, from French to Japanese, and even take smarter notes with the new AI Notes feature.

Honor also brings back its unique tools, including AI Deepfake Detection for video calls, Magic Portal 2.0 (now compatible with popular apps like TikTok, Google Maps, and Facebook), and Honor Share for quick file transfers—even with iPhones (using the Honor Connect app from Apple’s App Store).

Display, performance, and battery differences

There are differences in performance and screen size between the two models. The Honor 400 Pro is powered by the high-end Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, paired with a 6.7-inch quad-curved AMOLED display at 2,800 x 1,280 resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The standard Honor 400 uses the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 and features a slightly smaller 6.55-inch AMOLED display with 2,736 x 1,264 resolution—also at 120Hz.

Both models come with a large 6,000mAh battery. However, the Honor 400 Pro supports faster 100W wired and 80W wireless SuperCharge. The regular model supports 80W wired charging but lacks wireless support.

In terms of durability, the Honor 400 Pro is rated IP68 and IP69 for water and dust resistance. The Honor 400 is slightly less protected, carrying an IP66 rating.

Both models offer the same connectivity options, including Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, one eSIM, two nano SIM slots, and Android 15 with MagicOS 9.0.

In Singapore, the Honor 400 Pro is priced at S$899 and comes with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. It is available in Lunar Grey, Tidal Blue, and Midnight Black.

The standard Honor 400, with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, costs S$599 and is available in Desert Gold and Midnight Black.

Pre-orders begin on May 22 and end on May 29, 2025. If you pre-order the Honor 400 Pro, you’ll receive free gifts worth up to S$436 (including Honor Choice Earbuds Clip, Choice Watch 2i, a phone case, and an extended 1-year warranty). Pre-ordering the Honor 400 will get you up to S$337 in gifts (including Honor Earbuds X6, Watch 2i, a phone case, and a 1-year warranty).

Both phones will be available in stores after the pre-order period ends.
