How to catch Baidu World 2023’s focus on artificial intelligence

Be sure to check out Baidu World 2023, which focuses on advances in AI and self-driving technology and features a keynote from CEO Robin Li. Watch live on October 16 at 10 PM ET.

Don’t mark your calendars as full just yet; the tech event season is still going strong. Up next is Baidu, the Chinese tech giant, hosting its product event, Baidu World, on October 16 at 10 PM ET.

Returning to live events with an AI spotlight

For the first time since 2019, Baidu is moving away from a completely virtual setup. This year, they’re welcoming attendees back to a physical venue. The event aims to showcase “real-world demos and experiences,” so it’s no surprise that the primary focus will be artificial intelligence (AI). This aligns with the most prominent tech companies’ trend lately, doubling down on AI technologies.

Unveiling advances in AI and self-driving tech

Baidu plans to take us through various AI-native applications and unveil the latest progress in foundational AI models. This gives a strong hint that updates about ERNIE Bot—their advanced language model and generative AI chatbot—will likely be featured. The company could also release more information about how AI influences its self-driving car projects.

Tune in for Robin Li’s keynote

The two-hour event will kick off with a much-anticipated keynote speech by Baidu’s co-founder and CEO, Robin Li. The entire event will be live-streamed, allowing both physical and online audiences to catch all the action at Baidu World 2023.
