LG showcases innovative home solutions at KBIS and IBS 2025

LG unveils smart home solutions at KBIS and IBS 2025, featuring premium appliances, AI technology, and tailored packages for builders and designers.

LG Electronics is showcasing its newest range of residential solutions at the 2025 Kitchen and Bath Industry Show (KBIS) and the 2025 International Builders’ Show (IBS), both held in Las Vegas from 25 February to 27 February.

This year marks LG’s return to KBIS and its debut at IBS, the world’s largest annual tradeshow for light construction. At both events, LG is introducing a range of innovative products designed to meet the changing needs of home designers and builders in the United States. These solutions combine advanced technology with thoughtful design, aligning with the latest American lifestyle and housing trends.

Showcasing premium kitchen innovation and smart home appliances

At KBIS 2025, LG is shining a spotlight on its rebranded ultra-premium built-in kitchen range under the SIGNATURE KITCHEN SUITE (SKS) brand. Visitors can explore SKS innovations built around its “True to Food” philosophy, including the SKS 36-inch Cook-zone-free Induction Pro Range and the unique Island System concept.

As part of the showcase, Executive Chef Nick Ritchie from the SKS Experience & Design Centre in Napa Valley, California, is hosting live cooking demonstrations. Using the SKS Pro Range and Combi Wall Oven, Chef Ritchie is demonstrating how these appliances, equipped with Gourmet AI, can analyse available ingredients and recommend recipes and cooking modes, making home cooking smarter and more enjoyable.

LG’s SKS display also features its “Technicurean” concept kitchens, which blend culinary expertise with cutting-edge technology. These kitchens showcase the 24-inch column wine cellar, equipped with LG ThinQ-enabled wine curation, along with the sleek SKS Transitional package designed for modern homes.

Beyond SKS, LG is also presenting a variety of premium LG-branded appliances tailored specifically for the US market. These are displayed across four themed zones: Zero Clearance, Zero Gas, Zero Venting, and Zero Inefficiency. Each zone highlights how LG’s smart technology delivers greater convenience and efficiency, supported by LG’s AI Home hub, ThinQ ON, and its suite of smart life solutions like ThinQ UP and ThinQ Care.

The Zero Clearance Zone demonstrates space-saving appliances using LG’s Zero Clearance technology, ideal for modern, compact living spaces. The Zero Gas Zone focuses on electric appliances like induction cooktops and ovens, promoting greener, gas-free kitchens. In the Zero Venting Zone, LG highlights its heat pump dryers, powered by DUAL Inverter heat pump technology and smart fabric care using AI DirectDrive Motor and 6 Motion technology.

The Zero Inefficiency Zone showcases the “Zero Labour Home” lifestyle, featuring AI-powered appliances designed for busy households. These include high-capacity models like the LG SIGNATURE 29-inch washer and dryer pair and the 29-inch WashTower. With ThinQ ON acting as the home’s smart hub, ThinQ UP providing continuous feature upgrades, and ThinQ Care delivering proactive maintenance, LG aims to make home management easier and smarter.

LG targets US builder market with complete home packages

Making its first appearance at IBS, LG is highlighting a broad range of home solutions designed for builders and their customers. The exhibit features concept spaces tailored to different lifestyles, offering appliance packages that reflect LG’s understanding of current US housing trends.

Builders visiting the booth can discover appliance collections, including ENERGY STAR-certified packages with heat pump technology, and luxury built-in packages designed for both single-family and multi-family homes. A dedicated meeting space within the exhibit allows visitors to meet directly with LG Pro Builders, the company’s sales team focused on the builder market.

LG is also demonstrating its smart home management system, powered by LG ThinQ. This system links smart appliances and IoT devices into a single, connected home network, improving both convenience and security for homeowners. ThinQ Care further enhances this by providing proactive support that helps to maintain appliance performance and prevent costly breakdowns.

“By participating in both KBIS and IBS, LG is reinforcing its commitment to delivering tailored, high-efficiency total space solutions for the US built-in and housing markets,” said Lyu Jae-cheol, president of LG Home Appliance Solution Company. “We will continue to provide innovative solutions that fully address the needs of both our B2C and B2B customers.”
