Meta opens AI showcase to the public in Singapore

[output_post_excerpt]

Meta is bringing its first-ever public AI showcase to Singapore, offering visitors a hands-on look at how artificial intelligence is shaping creativity and connection across its platforms. The event, titled Meta AI: The Place of Impossible Things, will run from 22 to 23 November at Alma House, New Bahru.

Bringing AI experiences to life

The showcase will feature four interactive zones where visitors can explore how Meta AI enhances the way people learn, create, and communicate. Attendees will be able to try tools that generate and edit images, craft short-form AI videos, and receive personalised recommendations—all powered by Meta’s AI technology across Facebook, Messenger, Instagram, WhatsApp, and the Meta AI app.

The exhibition also includes an exclusive first look at the Ray-Ban Meta Glasses (Gen 2), the latest version of the company’s AI-enabled eyewear. The glasses combine hands-free functionality with Meta AI integration, offering a glimpse into how AI can blend seamlessly into everyday life.

Meta’s vision for accessible AI

Meta describes the showcase as part of its mission to make AI more accessible and inspiring to the public. Following successful events in other major cities, the Singapore edition highlights the company’s ongoing investment in building meaningful and inclusive AI experiences for users across the region.

“AI has been at the heart of our work for more than a decade, and it’s now front and centre in the experiences available across our apps and devices,” said Nicole Tan, Managing Director of Meta Singapore. “Meta AI: The Place of Impossible Things is our way of showing what AI can do for everyone—whether you’re creating, connecting, or exploring new ideas. We look forward to seeing creativity unleashed when people experience the magic of Meta AI.”

Tan added that hosting the event in Singapore reflects Meta’s confidence in the country’s reputation as an innovation hub. “Singapore continues to be a hub for innovation in the region,” she said. “We’re proud to bring Meta AI: The Place of Impossible Things here as part of our commitment to building responsible and inclusive AI experiences that empower people and communities.”

The two-day showcase will be held at Alma House, located on Level 3 of New Bahru, 46 Kim Yam Road. It will be open from 10 AM to 7 PM, with free admission available to all visitors who pre-register online. Through immersive demonstrations and interactive setups, the event aims to highlight how AI technologies are transforming creativity, social interaction, and digital expression.

By giving the public a chance to explore its latest AI tools and concepts, Meta hopes to deepen understanding of how artificial intelligence is being woven into everyday platforms and devices.
