The agreement, announced at the AGIBOT Partner Conference 2026 in Shanghai, brings together AGIBOT’s humanoid robotics platforms, NCS’ systems integration and localisation capabilities, and HZTC’s expertise in customisation. The collaboration centres on adapting humanoid robotics for real-world operational environments, with a focus on local deployment requirements.
Combining platforms, integration, and customisation
Under the partnership, AGIBOT will provide its end-to-end humanoid robotics platform, including embodied AI capabilities and APIs. NCS will work with HZTC to integrate and customise these systems, covering areas such as language and behavioural adaptation to meet local operating needs.
The three companies are positioning the collaboration around deployment readiness, combining hardware platforms with integration and localisation to support use in mission-critical environments.
“As humanoid robots transition from prototypes into day-to-day use, safety and reliability are key. As an AI-led technology services firm, Physical AI and robotics are top priorities for NCS. By combining AGIBOT’s humanoid platforms with NCS’ deep industry sector expertise and proven track record in delivering mission-critical systems, we enable public agencies and enterprises across Singapore and the Asia Pacific to deploy Physical AI confidently in real-world environments, enhancing frontline operations, improving service delivery, and strengthening organisational resilience,” said Sam Liew, CEO, NCS.
The integration effort will focus on ensuring the robotics systems can operate within existing enterprise and public sector environments, where localisation and operational reliability are key requirements.
Pilot deployments across public and private sectors
The partnership includes plans for pilot deployments across both public and private sector use cases, including social services, smart buildings, and public safety. These pilots are expected to test the systems in operational settings and support technical knowledge transfer between the partners.
The humanoid systems will incorporate technologies such as AI-powered perception, environmental awareness, coordinated full-body movement, precise object handling, real-time mapping and navigation, and edge computing. These capabilities are intended to allow the robots to operate in complex environments with a degree of autonomy.
“We are excited to partner with NCS and HZTC to bring humanoid robotics into real-world government and enterprise operations across Singapore and the Asia Pacific,“ said Abel Deng, President, Asia-Pacific & Middle East Region, AGIBOT. “NCS brings proven expertise in mission-critical integration and localisation, while HZTC delivers deep customisation capabilities. Together, we will accelerate Physical AI adoption with solutions that are intelligent, safe, reliable, and tailored to local needs. This partnership marks a key milestone in AGIBOT’s global expansion beyond China, with Singapore as the ideal launchpad for the region.”
The pilot phase is expected to inform how these systems can be deployed at scale, particularly in environments that require a high degree of operational control and system integration.
Expanding NCS’ role in humanoid robotics integration
The collaboration extends NCS’ involvement in Physical AI and robotics, with the company positioning itself as a systems integrator for humanoid robotics deployments. The focus remains on sectors that require customised solutions and operational resilience.
“Through our collaboration with NCS and AGIBOT, we are accelerating robotics applications and AI adoption across Singapore,” said Michael Chen, CEO, HZTC. “This collaboration will set new benchmarks for large-scale humanoid robot deployment through industry-led use cases and ecosystem partnerships. HZTC remains committed to driving this progress with flexible, efficient, and customised service solutions.”
AGIBOT, which reported the rollout of its 10,000th robot in March 2026, brings production scale to the partnership, while HZTC contributes system-level integration and customisation capabilities. The three-party structure reflects a division of roles between platform development, integration, and localisation as deployments move beyond prototype environments.
