Newgen recognised in Gartner’s latest market guide

Newgen Software gains notable recognition in Gartner's market guide, enhancing its standing in government grant management.

Newgen Software has been highlighted as a Representative Vendor in the Gartner Market Guide for State and Local Government Grant Management Solutions, marking a significant recognition in the competitive field. This endorsement positions Newgen as a key player in offering solutions that streamline grant management for government entities.

The Gartner report advises, “Government CIOs should use this research to determine the solution that best meets their organisations’ criteria by understanding the scope and scale of the market.” This guidance is crucial in helping CIOs navigate a complex array of technological offerings and ensure they choose solutions that align with their specific needs.

Efficiency in grant management

Newgen’s software is engineered to enhance the efficiency of the entire grant management process—from application intake and eligibility verification to award management and performance monitoring. By incorporating configurable rules into its system, Newgen aims to optimise both time and cost, which are often critical constraints in government operations.

The guide notes that common services across grant management phases include case management, workflow, documentation and records management, as well as data services and data warehousing. Newgen’s integration of these services aims to improve the effectiveness and reach of government programs.

Newgen’s market position strengthened

Runki Goswami, Global Head of Marketing at Newgen Software, commented on the achievement, saying, “The recognition, we believe, marks a significant achievement for Newgen in the competitive landscape of grant management. We remain dedicated to providing innovative solutions that assist government leaders in fulfilling their fiduciary duties for managing grant performance.”

This recognition not only highlights Newgen’s commitment to innovation but also cements its reputation as a leader in the government grant management sector.
