Pan-United Corporation, a Singapore-listed concrete innovation company, has taken a major step in its transformation journey with the expansion of its proprietary AiR Digital Solutions. The technology, developed in-house, provides an AI-powered end-to-end operations management system designed to improve efficiency and accelerate decarbonisation in the ready-mix concrete (RMC) and logistics industries.
AiR Digital is already supporting more than 20 companies across Southeast Asia, North Asia, and Australasia. Its customers include New Zealand’s Bridgeman Concrete, Malaysian quarry operator East Rock, and Singapore-based Eastern Continent Construction. By replacing manual, paper-based processes with digital intelligence, the system enables automated, data-driven decision-making across operations such as delivery schedules, fleet deployment, and resource allocation.
According to Pan-United, the solution has delivered measurable outcomes, including manpower savings of up to 45 percent, a 20 percent improvement in fleet utilisation, and greater productivity through redeployment of staff to customer service roles.
Transforming traditional industries
AiR Digital has been in development since 2014, starting with Pan-United’s own operations before evolving into a scalable solution for wider industry use. Its AI-driven optimisation helps companies manage the demanding requirements of RMC production, where the material must be delivered within a two-hour time frame.
Patrick Bridgeman, Managing Director of Bridgeman Concrete, described the adoption of AiR Digital as “truly transformative”, adding that it provided reliable data, strengthened internal controls, and automated decision-making. “Today, we run our operations with a minimal learning curve – even with staff who have no prior experience in the concrete industry,” he said. “With AiR Digital as our technology partner, we have the confidence that our operations are future-ready and adaptable to industry shifts.”
Driving industry change
Pan-United’s Chief Executive Officer, Ken Loh, highlighted that AiR Digital was originally an internal initiative but is now extending its impact across borders. “Our vision is to share our technology and learnings with other like-minded companies. In so doing, we can learn from each other and expand our impact,” he said.
Loh added that AiR Digital has the potential to transform not only the concrete sector but also industries with complex logistics operations. The system integrates with third-party platforms, can be configured to meet business needs, and leverages over a decade of accumulated expertise. “We are incredibly excited to see how this homegrown solution is gaining traction and driving change in companies across the world. Looking ahead, we will continue to evolve with technological and industry shifts, consistently upgrading and commercialising our solutions to meet the growing demand for smarter, more sustainable operations,” Loh said.
Commitment to sustainability
The launch of AiR Digital is part of Pan-United’s broader sustainability strategy. The company is one of the world’s largest producers of carbon-mineralised RMC, using carbon capture and utilisation technology to store industrial CO₂ within concrete. Pan-United has pledged to supply only low-carbon concrete by 2030, offer carbon-neutral concrete by 2040, and achieve full carbon neutrality by 2050.
