Razer launches Pro Click V2 and V2 Vertical Mice: Blending gaming and productivity

Razer's new Pro Click V2 and V2 Vertical mice offer gaming precision and ergonomic comfort, with AI prompt access and long battery life, available now!

Razer is breaking new ground by combining gaming precision with ergonomic productivity in its latest mouse releases: the Razer Pro Click V2 and the Razer Pro Click V2 Vertical Edition. This isn’t Razer’s first foray into the productivity market; these mice are the successors to the original Pro Click, part of the 2020 Razer Productivity Suite. But this time, Razer aims for a more seamless blend of work and play.

Designed for Gamers and Professionals Alike

Both mice boast impressive specifications designed to appeal to both gamers and productivity enthusiasts. You’ll find the cutting-edge Razer Focus Pro 30K Optical Sensor, offering unparalleled accuracy. The vibrant Chroma RGB lighting adds a personalised touch, while the durable mechanical switches are rated for up to 60 million clicks, ensuring long-lasting performance. With a maximum DPI of 30,000, you’ll experience precision control, whether you’re aiming for a headshot or navigating spreadsheets.

The integration of Razer HyperSpeed Wireless, a lightning-fast 2.4GHz connection, allows simultaneous pairing with up to five devices. This is particularly useful for those juggling multiple computers or devices throughout their workday. But what truly sets these mice apart is including Razer AI Prompt Master. By holding down the DPI button, you gain instant access to AI services like ChatGPT or Copilot, streamlining your workflow and boosting productivity. No subscription is required; use your existing accounts.

Ergonomic Design Meets High-Performance

The Razer Pro Click V2 Vertical Edition is a game-changer for those seeking ergonomic comfort. Its 71.7-degree angle promotes a natural handshake grip, reducing strain during extended use. The concave thumb rest provides additional support and comfort. Razer claims a remarkable six-month battery life on a single charge. With eight programmable buttons, including those conveniently located above and below the thumb rest, you can customise your workflow to perfection. However, it’s important to note that this is a right-handed mouse.

The standard Razer Pro Click V2, while less dramatically angled at 30º, still offers ergonomic advantages over traditional mice. It’s a more conventional design but retains the focus on comfort and precision. A standout feature is Razer HyperSpeed scrolling, offering both tactile cycling for gaming and free-spin scrolling for quick navigation through documents. While the battery life is shorter at 3.5 months, it’s still significantly improved over many competitor mice.

Pricing and Availability

Both mice are available now. The Razer Pro Click V2 is priced at S$149 and is available exclusively on Razer’s website and in Razer’s website. The Razer Pro Click V2 Vertical Edition is priced at S$189 and can be purchased on Razer’s website, in Razer’s stores, and from authorised resellers. Both mice charge via USB-C for convenient power management.
