Samsung has announced the launch of its latest Galaxy A Series smartphones, the Galaxy A56 5G and Galaxy A36 5G, in Singapore. The new models will be available for purchase from 28 March 2025, offering enhanced artificial intelligence (AI) features, improved security, and upgraded camera technology.

Smarter features and improved security

Powered by One UI 7, the Galaxy A56 5G and Galaxy A36 5G introduce AI-driven features that enhance search capabilities, visual experiences, and usability. The AI tools aim to provide a seamless and intuitive experience for users, making everyday smartphone tasks more efficient.

Security has also been a key focus in this new line-up. Both devices come with Samsung Knox, which includes advanced protections such as Knox Matrix, Theft Protection, and Auto Blocker. These features provide users with a secure mobile environment, giving them greater control over their privacy and data settings.

Upgraded cameras and performance

The new Galaxy A Series models feature a 50MP main camera and 10-bit HDR front lens recording, ensuring sharper and more vibrant selfies. The Galaxy A56 5G is equipped with a 12MP ultra-wide lens, enhancing its ability to capture expansive scenes and group shots.

Ronnie Ng, Head of Mobile eXperience at Samsung Electronics Singapore, said the new series aims to bring AI-powered mobile experiences to a wider audience.

“With the new Galaxy A Series, we are making mobile AI technology truly accessible to everyone – bringing intelligent, seamless experiences to more customers at an affordable price. This line-up offers a smarter yet secure experience for consumers who are looking for an everyday device that can support their lifestyle needs in an increasingly digital environment.”
