Samsung’s new Galaxy Book5 Pro 360 doubles down on AI capabilities

Discover Samsung's latest Galaxy Book5 Pro 360, featuring powerful AI capabilities, a stunning AMOLED display, and all-day battery life.

Samsung has just revealed its latest addition to the Galaxy Book range, the Galaxy Book5 Pro 360, touted as a “powerhouse AI PC.” This impressive new device is powered by Intel’s Core Ultra Series 2 processor, also known as Lunar Lake, which promises a significant leap in performance. With a Neural Processing Unit (NPU) capable of delivering up to 47 tera operations per second (TOPS), this laptop offers double the AI processing power compared to previous models. For those looking for even more, you can connect your Galaxy smartphone to enhance the AI experience with additional Galaxy AI features.

A significant boost in graphics and AI features

The Galaxy Book5 Pro 360 comes with outstanding AI capabilities and includes Intel’s Arc GPU, which enhances graphics performance by up to 17%. The laptop promises to deliver over 300 AI-accelerated features across more than 100 apps, offering users a wide range of tools for productivity and creativity.

However, the whole Copilot+ AI experience won’t be available at launch. Samsung has confirmed that these advanced features will roll out through future updates. During its IFA event, Microsoft shared that these updates are expected to arrive in November, bringing with them more integrated AI features.

Connecting your compatible Galaxy phone via Microsoft Phone Link allows you to tap into some exciting Galaxy AI tools such as Circle to Search with Google, Chat Assist, Live Translate, and Transcript Assist. This close integration between your devices highlights Samsung’s focus on creating an ecosystem where “performance meets connectivity,” a key selling point for the Galaxy Book series.

Stunning display and flexible design

The Galaxy Book5 Pro 360 also shines in the hardware department. It boasts a 16-inch Dynamic AMOLED display designed to offer stunning visuals with a resolution of 2880 x 1800. This high-resolution screen, combined with Samsung’s Vision Booster technology, ensures better visibility outdoors and reduces glare for a more comfortable viewing experience.

What sets this laptop apart is its 360-degree hinge, which allows you to fold the screen back to use the device like a tablet. It includes an S Pen for easy note-taking or drawing directly on the touchscreen. However, remember that when the screen is fully folded, the keyboard and touchpad will rest on the surface, so you should be cautious where you place them.

Impressive battery life and performance options

Samsung’s new Galaxy Book5 Pro 360 is also making waves with its claimed “all-day battery life.” The company promises up to 25 hours of video playback, making it an ideal choice for users needing their laptops to last through long days of work or entertainment. Of course, whether these battery claims hold will depend on real-world testing, but the potential is certainly exciting.

This 2-in-1 laptop will be available in 16GB or 32GB of RAM and storage options of 512GB or 1TB. It’s set to hit stores this month, giving tech enthusiasts something to look forward to.

With its cutting-edge AI features, ecosystem connectivity, powerful hardware, and flexible design, the Galaxy Book5 Pro 360 is shaping up to be a top choice for users looking for a high-performance laptop. Whether using it for work, creativity, or simply enjoying its impressive features, this laptop aims to deliver on all fronts.
