SECO partners with impact.com to boost Senheng app’s growth through affiliate marketing

SECO partners with impact.com to scale the Senheng app through affiliate marketing, aiming for growth, better ROI, and personalised consumer engagement.

SECO, also known as S Ecosystem, has teamed up with impact.com, a leading partnership management platform, to scale the growth of the Senheng mobile app through an optimised affiliate marketing programme. With Malaysia’s e-commerce market on a steady rise, particularly in online and mobile shopping, the collaboration aims to expand Senheng’s user base and drive better returns on investment (ROI).

Malaysia’s booming e-commerce market opens new opportunities

Malaysia’s e-commerce market is projected to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 8.5% between 2024 and 2028, reaching MYR67.1 billion. Recognising this opportunity, SECO is leveraging affiliate marketing to create greater awareness and encourage wider adoption of the Senheng app. With steady growth in active users, the app aims to significantly increase affiliate-driven sales in the first year of the partnership.

Wai Hoong Lew, General Manager at SECO, highlighted the importance of the collaboration, saying, “We’re excited to expand our affiliate marketing services with impact.com, empowering more businesses of our valued clients to unlock growth through effective affiliate and referral marketing. This collaboration allows us to build a strong network of high-quality affiliates, creating an ecosystem that drives mutual value and sustained success for our clients across industries.”

The partnership also focuses on fostering a community-driven approach to online retail. By enabling brand members to engage in affiliate marketing, SECO and impact.com aim to improve the shopping experience for consumers through personalised offers and tailored shopping journeys. Wai Hoong noted, “Our work together extends beyond business growth, aiming to create new opportunities in Malaysia’s e-commerce landscape.”

Unlocking growth and creating new revenue streams

SECO has already seen encouraging results from its affiliate marketing efforts. By further streamlining the process with impact.com’s technology, it plans to scale these efforts to drive long-term, sustainable growth. The partnership will help SECO onboard affiliates more efficiently, manage performance data in real time, and optimise the overall programme to maximise returns.

According to SECO, empowering existing users to participate in the affiliate programme will open new revenue streams. By continuously improving the programme’s performance, SECO aims to enhance user engagement while building a strong network of trusted affiliates.

Adam Furness, Managing Director of impact.com for Asia Pacific, explained how the partnership will help drive growth: “impact.com is positioned to help businesses accelerate growth by diversifying their marketing investments and generating new revenue streams beyond traditional online advertising through affiliate marketing. We look forward to supporting SECO in growing their community of Senheng app users and fostering meaningful relationships with a new network of affiliates.”

Preparing for long-term success

The partnership will enable SECO to take advantage of Malaysia’s expanding e-commerce industry by boosting brand visibility, acquiring new users, and engaging the community more effectively. With tailored strategies and innovative engagement tools, SECO is confident that the collaboration will lead to sustainable growth and set new benchmarks in the country’s digital retail space.

By combining affiliate marketing with innovative consumer engagement, SECO and impact.com are well-positioned to help the Senheng app thrive amid the evolving digital landscape in Malaysia.
