STT GDC and SuperX open AI Innovation Centre to support enterprise AI deployment
STT GDC and SuperX launch an AI Innovation Centre in Singapore to help enterprises scale AI from pilots to production.
ST Telemedia Global Data Centres and SuperX AI Technology Limited have launched an AI Innovation Centre in Singapore, aimed at helping organisations move from AI experimentation to production-ready deployment.

Located at the STT Singapore 5 facility in Tai Seng, the centre provides access to high-performance compute infrastructure in a controlled environment. It is designed for enterprises running short-term AI workloads such as pilots, proof of concepts, and model benchmarking. The facility has already onboarded an initial group of users working on advanced modelling and large-scale data simulations.
The launch follows a Memorandum of Understanding signed between both companies in January and comes as organisations face constraints in scaling AI initiatives beyond early-stage development.
Addressing infrastructure constraints in AI adoption
Research conducted by STT GDC highlights a gap in AI infrastructure across Singapore and Asia. The study, which surveyed more than 600 leaders across nine markets, found that most organisations remain in the “Building” phase of AI maturity due to limited access to foundational infrastructure.
The AI Innovation Centre is positioned as a response to this constraint by providing enterprise-grade compute resources locally. By centralising infrastructure and orchestration, the facility aims to reduce the operational complexity that often delays or halts AI pilots.
“The foundation of any successful AI strategy is dependable, scalable infrastructure,” said Mingcheng Lim, Country Head, Singapore at ST Telemedia Global Data Centres. “By combining our operational excellence with SuperX’s advanced orchestration capabilities, we are providing a strategic blueprint for organisations to move past the pilot phase. This centre is more than just a testing ground; it is a launchpad for enterprises to achieve measurable return on investment and long-term AI leadership.”
Integrated compute and deployment environment
The centre combines STT GDC’s data centre infrastructure with SuperX’s AI hardware and orchestration software. It offers direct access to NVIDIA Blackwell GPU infrastructure with 192GB HBM3e VRAM per GPU, alongside servers configured with Intel Xeon Gold 6767P CPUs and 400G InfiniBand networking.
Deployment is handled through a user portal and service catalogue that allows teams to provision GPU resources quickly. All workloads are executed locally within Singapore, addressing data residency requirements for regulated industries.
A pilot access programme provides qualified users with a 14-day free trial to test performance, compatibility, and cost considerations before committing to production deployment.
“Our goal is to provide immediate AI capability,” said Kenny Sng, CTO of SuperX AI Technology Limited. “Many enterprises struggle with the cost and complexity of setting up dedicated AI environments. The AI Innovation Centre reduces that friction, enabling teams to deploy models from a built-in catalogue or third-party marketplaces in days, not months. We are bridging the gap between infrastructure and real-world AI outcomes.”
From pilot validation to production scale
Beyond initial testing, the centre offers pathways to full production deployment, including hybrid and private AI models. Organisations can scale workloads within STT GDC’s broader global footprint, extending infrastructure capacity beyond the Singapore site.
The facility is open to enterprises, regional businesses, and Institutions of Higher Learning, providing a structured environment for testing, validation, and eventual deployment. The aim is to reduce the time required to move from concept to operational AI systems while maintaining enterprise-grade security and performance standards.
