Coronis Health partners with UiPath to improve healthcare delivery systems

Coronis Health partners with UiPath to boost healthcare efficiency through AI-powered automation, with new features launching in early 2025.

UiPath, a global provider of enterprise automation and artificial intelligence software, has announced a new partnership with Coronis Health, a leading healthcare revenue cycle management (RCM) solutions provider. The collaboration sees Coronis Health adopting the UiPath Platform as part of a wider digital transformation strategy aimed at boosting efficiency, transparency and compliance across its healthcare operations.

The agreement gives Coronis full access to the UiPath Platform, enabling the integration of multiple automation and AI technologies throughout its delivery systems. These include robotic process automation, document understanding, task and process mining, process orchestration, as well as unattended and attended bots. Machine learning models will also play a role in streamlining key workflows.

“We are very pleased to announce that we have signed an agreement with UiPath for access to the full capabilities of their platform,” said Doug Marcey, Chief Technology Officer at Coronis Health. “Coronis Health is committed to being an industry leader in automation efficiencies to benefit our clients. To that end, we have begun integrating many new technologies into our delivery system, namely robotic process automation, document understanding, task/process mining, process orchestration, unattended and attended bots and machine learning models, to name just a few.”

Automation to improve efficiency and accuracy

By introducing automation across its operations, Coronis aims to reduce the burden of repetitive administrative tasks that are common in the healthcare sector. With a phased rollout of the UiPath Platform, the company plans to integrate AI and predictive analytics into its revenue cycle to support faster and more accurate processing.

The technology will enable automated claims handling, helping reduce submission errors and claim denials. Predictive insights will also assist in identifying optimisation opportunities for reimbursements, potentially improving overall cash flow for Coronis and its clients. These enhancements are expected to go live for customers in early 2025.

UiPath’s expertise in automation aligns well with Coronis Health’s operational needs and vision for growth, especially as both companies aim to modernise traditional systems within the healthcare sector.

Advanced AI features to roll out in early 2025

According to Arun Balasubramanian, Vice President and Managing Director for India & South Asia at UiPath, automation powered by AI will be a key driver in transforming healthcare operations.

“The healthcare industry is no stranger to manual, time-consuming administrative tasks. By leveraging AI-powered automation, organisations can streamline these processes, driving significant ROI while enhancing productivity and patient engagement and experience,” said Balasubramanian.

He highlighted the role of AI agents in enabling businesses to achieve greater autonomy in operations. “AI agents extend the scope and impact of automation with their autonomous decision-making and actions, unlocking unprecedented growth opportunities for businesses,” he added.

Balasubramanian also shared his enthusiasm about the collaboration. “We are excited to be a part of Coronis Health’s digital transformation journey. The UiPath Platform will empower Coronis Health to harness advanced AI capabilities while ensuring transparency, security and ethical governance across all automated processes. We look forward to combining our expertise and technology to deliver strategic results for Coronis’ customers in today’s agentic era.”

The partnership represents a significant shift in how healthcare organisations manage their revenue cycles and administrative processes, with the adoption of intelligent automation expected to yield long-term improvements in both cost efficiency and service quality.
