[output_post_excerpt]

EduSpaze, Singapore’s first and leading edtech accelerator, has welcomed seven edtech startups into its 10th cohort. These startups aim to bring innovative solutions to Singapore, Indonesia, the Philippines, and France, reinforcing EduSpaze’s commitment to reshaping learning experiences across the region.

The accelerator programme continues to foster an ecosystem that supports diverse learning needs, adapting to the evolving education landscape.

“We’re thrilled to welcome seven groundbreaking startups to our milestone 10th cohort. As the education landscape evolves, we see a clear shift from simply replacing traditional education with online alternatives to enhancing it through blended learning models and applying AI in education. These startups embody that transformation, bringing innovative solutions that bridge the gap between technology and effective learning. They have the vision, resilience, and potential to drive a real impact, and we are honoured to support them on this challenging yet rewarding journey,” said Alex Ng, Managing Director of EduSpaze.

The seven startups in the 10th cohort bring a range of education and workforce development solutions, including blockchain-powered school management, AI-driven learning platforms, and job readiness tools:

  • EdFolio – A blockchain-integrated school management system.
  • Sqouts and Jobs That Make Sense – Platforms focused on job readiness and sustainable career development.
  • Story Journey – An AI-powered learning platform.
  • Hexcore Labs – A cybersecurity training provider using gamified AI technology.
  • MAXY Academy – A platform bridging the gap between university students and employers.
  • Zoala – A mental health support platform designed for schools.

Supporting edtech growth in Southeast Asia

Since its launch in 2019, EduSpaze has been at the forefront of edtech acceleration in Southeast Asia, helping nearly 70 startups grow through funding, mentorship, and industry connections. The accelerator provides seed funding of up to SGD 500,000, as well as access to a network of educators-in-residence (EIR), investors, and global partners.

EduSpaze is supported by Enterprise Singapore and operated by Spaze Ventures, playing a key role in driving edtech innovation in the region. Some of its successful alumni include myFirst, SafeSpace, and eFrontiers.

The future of education: AI, upskilling, and workforce development

The edtech market in Singapore is projected to reach US$2.2 billion by 2027, growing at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 13.6%. EduSpaze is shifting its focus towards preparing learners for the future of work, workforce upskilling, and post-K-12 education.

The new cohort aligns with this vision by offering solutions in workforce development, AI-driven job preparation, mental wellness, and sustainability-focused careers. EduSpaze aims to support startups that address real-world learning challenges and professional development.

“With the rapid growth of the cybersecurity industry, there is a critical need for more skilled technical practitioners. Hexcore Labs simplifies the process of spinning up realistic, practical scenarios for cybersecurity and AI training, tagged with gamification through our innovative AI-powered Cloud Cyber Range to enable learners to gain hands-on experience in penetration testing, adversarial attack simulations, and AI automation. Being part of EduSpaze allows us to scale this vision and equip more individuals with crucial cybersecurity skills,” said Loh Kar Wei, Founder of Hexcore Labs.

“The transition to a greener economy requires an equally significant shift in workforce skills and career pathways. At Jobs That Make Sense, we aim to connect individuals with sustainable job opportunities and educational resources to support their career growth in the green sector. EduSpaze’s network and expertise will be invaluable in helping us accelerate our impact,” said Léa Klein, President and Head of Jobs That Make Sense.

“As we see economic progress in Indonesia and Southeast Asia, the need for the right talent increases in tandem. Our platform is designed to act as a bridge between university students and leading companies seeking quality talent. Being part of EduSpaze allows us to leverage the network to scale this vision and expand regionally,” said Isaac Munandar, CEO of MAXY Academy.

EduSpaze continues to drive innovation in education and workforce development, ensuring that learning remains relevant in an evolving job market.
