Google co-founder Larry Page reportedly launching AI-driven manufacturing startup

Google co-founder Larry Page is reportedly launching Dynatomics, an AI-driven manufacturing startup that will optimise product design and production.

Google co-founder Larry Page is reportedly working on a new artificial intelligence (AI) startup called Dynatomics, which aims to transform product manufacturing. According to The Information, the company uses AI to create highly optimised product designs, which can be built in factories.

AI-powered design and manufacturing

Page is working with a small team of engineers on this project. The goal is to develop AI technology that can generate advanced product designs that are efficient and ready for production. According to The Information, Chris Anderson, the former Chief Technology Officer of Kittyhawk—an electric aircraft startup backed by Page—has been appointed to lead the new venture.

The project remains stealth mode, meaning few details have been publicly disclosed. However, the AI-driven manufacturing approach could significantly change how products are designed and produced, making the process faster and more cost-effective.

AI’s growing role in manufacturing

Page is not the only entrepreneur exploring AI’s potential in manufacturing. Other companies are also working on ways to integrate AI into production processes.

Orbital Materials is developing an AI-powered platform to discover new materials, from more efficient batteries to carbon-capturing cells. Another startup, PhysicsX, provides simulation tools for automotive, aerospace, and materials science engineers. Meanwhile, Instrumental uses AI-driven vision technology to identify and fix factory defects in real-time.

As AI advances, it is increasingly used to streamline manufacturing, improve product quality, and reduce waste. With Page’s backing, Dynatomics could become a major player in this space, pushing the boundaries of AI-driven product design and production.
