Lenovo launches AI-ready IT solutions to help small and medium businesses modernise and scale

Lenovo introduces AI-ready IT solutions and flexible pricing models to help small and medium businesses modernise easily and scale efficiently.

Lenovo has launched a new range of IT infrastructure solutions aimed at helping small and medium businesses (SMBs) adopt modern technology more easily and prepare for artificial intelligence (AI)-driven growth. The solutions, introduced on 25 September in Singapore, are designed to remove complexity and cost barriers that often prevent smaller companies from modernising their systems.

Making enterprise IT accessible for smaller businesses

The new offerings provide pre-tested and validated bundles of servers and software, along with flexible payment options. These bundles include guided setup, built-in security features and ready-to-use designs that make it easier for SMBs to upgrade outdated systems without needing specialised expertise. Lenovo said this approach allows businesses to move faster from decision to deployment and build an IT foundation that can handle AI workloads.

“SMBs face a challenging and competitive landscape today, with many struggling to modernise IT while keeping costs under control,” said Sumir Bhatia, President, Asia Pacific, Infrastructure Solutions Group, Lenovo. “Our SMB portfolio simplifies the way businesses acquire, deploy, and manage IT, accelerating innovation and operational efficiency from day one.”

Among the key offerings are Business Ready Infrastructure in a Box, built on Lenovo ThinkSystem servers and validated with Microsoft’s Windows Server 2025; AI Edge-Ready Node, powered by Lenovo ThinkEdge hardware and Scale Computing HyperCore for cost-effective edge deployments; and Business Protection in a Box, which safeguards critical workloads and data with built-in resilience.

Streamlined management and data protection

To simplify operations, Lenovo integrates its cloud-based XClarity One platform, which provides AI-driven monitoring, predictive maintenance and centralised control to reduce downtime and costs. For data protection, the solutions include Veeam backup technology, enabling rapid recovery from ransomware attacks or system failures without requiring large in-house IT teams.

Lenovo also supports businesses looking to adopt AI more strategically. Its validated AI configurations allow companies to implement use cases such as real-time threat detection and customer analytics without building systems from scratch. This makes AI adoption faster and more practical for smaller organisations.

“SMBs are the backbone of Singapore’s digital economy, yet AI adoption remains low,” said Kumar Mitra, Executive Director, CAP & ANZ, Infrastructure Solutions Group, Lenovo. “These scalable and secure solutions with flexible consumption options help SMBs modernise efficiently and unlock AI-driven growth without the complexity or cost of building IT from scratch.”

Flexible pricing with TruScale

Lenovo is also promoting its TruScale Infrastructure as-a-Service (IaaS) model, which allows businesses to pay only for the technology they use. With leasing, subscription and consumption-based pricing, companies can scale IT resources according to their needs while avoiding large upfront investments. Lenovo said customers using TruScale have seen up to 30 per cent faster rollouts.

One example is Malaysia’s Microtree Sdn Bhd (M3), which used TruScale to expand its services by offering Backup-as-a-Service to clients. By leveraging consumption-based pricing, M3 brought new solutions to market quickly without heavy capital expenditure.

Lenovo’s strategy reflects its focus on making enterprise-grade, AI-ready technology accessible to smaller organisations. By combining simplified deployment, built-in protection and flexible consumption models, the company aims to support SMBs in building resilient, modern IT systems that can adapt to future demands.
