Samsung opens preorders for new flagship M9 smart monitor

Samsung is opening preorders for its flagship M9 Smart Monitor, which features QD-OLED tech, AI picture optimisation, and built-in streaming apps.

Samsung has officially launched the new M9 Smart Monitor, its top-tier model first shown at CES earlier this year. With preorders now open, you can be among the first to bring home Samsung’s most advanced smart monitor yet.

Meet the M9: A new standard in smart displays

Samsung’s cutting-edge QD-OLED technology is at the heart of the M9, making its debut in the Smart Monitor series. This gives you vibrant colours, deep blacks, and a crisp 4K resolution across a generous 32-inch screen. Whether you’re gaming, watching films, or working, the M9 is built to make everything look better. It also boasts a 165Hz refresh rate — something gamers, in particular, will appreciate, as it means smoother motion and less screen tearing.

Samsung hasn’t stopped at visuals. The M9 is packed with AI features to enhance your overall experience. Its built-in AI Picture Optimiser automatically adjusts display settings based on what you’re watching or doing, so you always get the best possible image. It can even upscale lower-resolution videos to near-4K quality and tweak sound settings in real-time to suit your environment.

Smart features and stylish design

The M9 isn’t just a monitor — it’s also a smart entertainment hub. With direct access to popular streaming apps, Samsung TV Plus, and the Samsung Gaming Hub, you can enjoy films, shows, and even cloud gaming — no console or PC required. You can also use Multi View, which lets you simultaneously display content from multiple sources. SmartThings integration allows you to control smart home devices straight from the screen.

If you’re already using other Samsung gadgets, you’ll appreciate Multi Control, which lets you use the same keyboard and mouse to manage multiple Samsung devices, including tablets and laptops. It’s a seamless setup that helps you stay focused and organised.

Visually, the M9 keeps things sleek and minimal with a slim 9.9 mm metal frame that resembles Apple’s Studio Display. But there’s a key difference: the M9 offers full height, tilt, and pivot adjustments — giving you far more flexibility when setting up your workspace.

How to preorder and what you’ll get

Preorders for the M9 are now live on Samsung’s official website. The monitor is priced at US$1,600, with free shipping set to begin on July 11. You can pay the full amount upfront or opt for a payment plan. Samsung offers 24 interest-free monthly payments of US$66.67 or four bi-weekly instalments of US$400.

As a bonus, Samsung includes US$300 in site credit with every M9 purchase. The credit can be used on future Samsung purchases, and you’ll receive an email with all the details within 35 days of your monitor’s delivery.

If you’re looking for a monitor that combines performance, style, and smart features, the M9 looks set to deliver — and then some.
