StarHub celebrates 25 years of connection and innovation

StarHub celebrates 25 years of connecting Singapore, marking the milestone with island-wide festivities, giveaways, and new entertainment experiences.

StarHub is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, marking a major milestone in its journey alongside Singapore’s growth and digital transformation. Since beginning operations in 2000, StarHub has played a key role in connecting millions of people, supporting businesses, and making technology more accessible and enjoyable for everyday life.

“This milestone is about the people who have been part of our story — our customers, employees, partners and community,” said Nikhil Eapen, Chief Executive Officer of StarHub. “Over the last 25 years, we’ve grown by staying close to the people we serve and adapting to what matters most. As we look ahead, we’re building on that foundation to deliver simpler, smarter, more impactful and more delightful experiences, grounded in the everyday needs of our customers.”

Over the years, StarHub has introduced several first-to-market mobile and broadband services, alongside advancements such as 5G connectivity, streaming platforms, and enterprise digital solutions. The company’s aim has consistently been to make technology seamless, relevant, and accessible for people. On the enterprise front, StarHub has become a trusted digital partner for organisations, helping them transform confidently in a fast-changing digital landscape and allowing them to focus on the work that truly matters.

Celebrating the milestone with customers and employees

To commemorate this special occasion, StarHub launched its celebrations with a balloon hunt at StarHub Green, where employees were the first to participate in the festivities. The excitement then travelled across Singapore, with stops at Tampines Mall, Launchpad @ one-north, NEX, and Republic Polytechnic. The balloon hunts created moments of surprise and connection, offering attractive prizes such as popular gadgets and unique experiences.

As part of the celebrations, StarHub has also introduced a lucky draw running from 1 April to 30 June. All new and existing customers stand a chance to win one of 75 exciting prizes. Existing customers are automatically eligible for the draw, while new sign-ups and customers who recontract will also be entered. This initiative serves as a way for StarHub to thank its customers and invite everyone to be part of the celebrations.

Bringing the best entertainment experiences to Singapore

In line with its commitment to providing great entertainment, StarHub announced that the 2025 NBA Postseason games, including the playoffs and NBA Finals, are now available on StarHub TV. Basketball fans in Singapore can catch the action through the Sports+ pass, with selected games available live or on-demand across multiple devices, ensuring they never miss a key moment.

This announcement follows the upcoming StarHub “Football for All” Carnival in May, which promises to be another highlight in StarHub’s line-up of live sports events and entertainment offerings. These initiatives reinforce StarHub’s dedication to delivering top-quality content and experiences to its customers as part of its 25th anniversary celebrations.
