eero 7 and eero Pro 7 launch in Singapore with full Wi-Fi 7 support

eero launches Wi-Fi 7-ready eero 7 and eero Pro 7 in Singapore, offering fast speeds, advanced security, and smart home integration.

Amazon-owned networking company eero has expanded its presence in Singapore with the launch of two new Wi-Fi 7 devices: the eero 7 and eero Pro 7. These latest models join the previously released eero Max 7, completing the company’s Wi-Fi 7 portfolio for the local market.

Designed to serve homes of all sizes, from HDB flats to good class bungalows, the eero 7 and eero Pro 7 aim to offer fast, reliable, and secure connectivity. Both devices are supported by eero’s networking technologies, including TrueMesh, TrueRoam, and TrueChannel, which work together to optimise speed, reliability, and latency. Alongside the hardware, eero has also introduced eero Plus in Singapore, a subscription service offering added security features and parental controls directly within the eero app.

High-speed coverage for every home

The eero 7 is a dual-band router that supports 2.4GHz and 5GHz frequencies. It is tailored for households looking for affordable, high-performance Wi-Fi, particularly those upgrading from older 1Gbps plans. With two 2.5GbE ports, the device offers wired speeds of up to 2.3Gbps and wireless speeds of up to 1.8Gbps.

Each eero 7 unit can cover up to 190 square metres and support over 120 devices, making it suitable for HDBs and condominiums. A three-pack extends coverage to 560 square metres and can support more than 600 devices. Customers can also add more units to expand coverage as needed.

The more powerful eero Pro 7 is built for bandwidth-heavy use cases such as 4K video streaming, online gaming, and VR or AR applications. Featuring a fanless, passive thermal design, it delivers wired speeds of up to 4.7Gbps via two 5GbE ports and wireless speeds of up to 3.9Gbps across the 2.4GHz, 5GHz, and 6GHz bands.

Each eero Pro 7 unit covers 190 square metres and supports over 200 devices, with a three-pack offering the same 560 square metres of coverage as the eero 7. The device is optimised for larger homes and challenging environments with multiple floors or competing networks.

Enhanced features through software and subscription

The entire eero product line is managed through the eero app, which allows users to set up their network in minutes, monitor connected devices, pause internet access, and share credentials. A recent redesign of the app has further improved navigation and visibility of device connections.

eero’s proprietary networking technologies enable seamless connectivity across different areas of a home. TrueMesh dynamically routes data through the fastest available path, reducing interference. TrueRoam helps devices stay connected to the best eero node when moving throughout a property, while TrueChannel continuously optimises channel selection for each device.

In addition to performance improvements from the Wi-Fi 7 standard, eero 7 and eero Pro 7 also support advanced features such as Multi-Link Operation, Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access, and 4K-QAM. These technologies enable higher throughput, lower latency, and more efficient data handling for multiple devices.

All devices support WPA3, the latest consumer-grade Wi-Fi security protocol. Software updates are delivered automatically over the air to ensure up-to-date security, bug fixes, and new features.

The optional eero Plus subscription adds a further layer of protection and control. It includes access to premium third-party apps such as 1Password, Malwarebytes, and Guardian VPN, along with parental control tools to help manage screen time and block inappropriate content.

Availability and pricing in Singapore

Both devices are now available in Singapore. The eero 7 is priced at S$219.99 for a single unit and S$499.99 for a three-pack. The eero Pro 7 is priced at S$429.99 for a one-pack and S$999.99 for a three-pack. They can be purchased via the official eero store at eerostore.sg, as well as through retailers including Popular, Best Denki, Shopee, Lazada, and Amazon.sg. Bundled options are also available via ViewQwest and MyRepublic.

The eero Plus subscription costs S$13.98 per month with a 30-day free trial, or S$139.98 per year with a 60-day free trial.

All eero Wi-Fi 7 devices are compatible with previous eero generations and come with a three-year warranty. They also serve as smart home hubs, supporting Matter, Thread, and Zigbee devices. Customers can receive local support seven days a week for troubleshooting and installation queries.
