Sony has confirmed the final PlayStation Plus Monthly Games selection of 2025, offering subscribers an expanded lineup for December. Instead of the usual three titles, members across all tiers will be able to claim five games. As always, once added to a library, the games remain accessible for as long as the user’s subscription stays active.
A family-friendly adventure leads the lineup
The standout addition for December is Lego Horizon Adventures for PS5. The title offers a light-hearted, family-friendly take on the Horizon franchise, reimagining the events of Horizon Zero Dawn through a Lego lens. Developed by Guerrilla Games in partnership with Studio Gobo, the game marks the first co-operative entry in the Horizon series. An MMO based on the franchise is also reported to be in development, further expanding the series.
Another highlight is Neon White, available for both PS4 and PS5. The game blends fast-paced platforming with first-person shooting and features elements of a dating simulator. Each stage challenges players to race towards the exit while defeating every demon along the way, offering a mix of precision, speed and replayability.
Horror and action titles expand December’s offerings
December’s lineup also includes two first-person co-operative horror games. Killing Floor 3, available on PS5, takes an action-heavy approach to the genre, while The Outlast Trials, available on PS4 and PS5, focuses on psychological survival horror. Both titles offer multiplayer experiences designed to test teamwork under intense and frightening conditions.
Rounding out the list is Synduality Echo of Ada for PS5. This extraction shooter may appeal to players seeking an alternative to Arc Raiders without spending on another full-priced title. Its inclusion broadens the variety of genres available to subscribers this month.
Availability and future direction of PS Plus offerings
All five games will be available for PlayStation Plus Essential, Extra and Premium members from 2 December until 5 January. Subscribers have until 1 December to claim the previous month’s offerings: EA Sports WRC 24, Totally Accurate Battle Simulator and Stray.
Earlier this year, Sony announced that it plans to wind down PS4 titles as a “key benefit” of the PS Plus Monthly Games and Game Catalogue starting in January 2026. While PS4 games may still appear occasionally, the company intends to focus primarily on PS5 titles and potentially some PS VR2 content moving forward. Any PS4 games previously claimed will remain available for download as long as the subscriber maintains an active membership.
