ASUS ROG unveils Strix Helios II chassis in Singapore

ASUS ROG has launched the Strix Helios II case in Singapore, a high-performance mid-tower designed for gamers and DIY PC builders.

ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) has announced the launch of its new ROG Strix Helios II chassis, a premium mid-tower case designed for high-performance gaming PCs. Combining advanced thermal performance with a bold, showcase-ready design, the Helios II will be available in Singapore from early September 2025.

Built with aluminium accents, tempered glass side panels, and a striking diamond-grille front panel, the Helios II caters to gamers and PC builders looking for both aesthetics and functionality. With support for extra-long graphics cards, high-end radiators, and extensive cable management, the chassis aims to streamline the building process while keeping things visually tidy.

Premium design and cooling features

The ROG Strix Helios II is available in black, white, and a special Hatsune Miku-themed edition. Its front panel features a diamond-pattern grille with a 3D-embossed ROG logo, contributing to a performance-oriented look. Behind the grille is a noise-dampening 3D-structured filter that helps maintain airflow while keeping fan noise to a minimum.

ASUS includes four pre-installed 140mm fans, each with a thicker 28mm frame for improved air pressure and quieter operation. Three fans are placed at the front of the case to pull cool air in, while a fourth is mounted at the rear to expel heat. The chassis supports up to two 360mm radiators on the front and top panels, allowing for liquid-cooling systems that can easily handle top-tier components, such as the ROG Astral LC RTX 5090 and ROG Ryuo IV SLC 360 ARGB CPU cooler.

Tempered glass side panels on both sides offer a clear view of the internal components and RGB lighting, letting users fully personalise their setup.

Built for DIY enthusiasts and serious gamers

The Helios II is designed with DIY users in mind, supporting EATX motherboards and graphics cards up to 450mm in length. It accommodates both vertical and horizontal GPU mounting, offering flexibility for different configurations. Tool-free access is made easy with one-key release side panels and a patented PCIe mount that simplifies expansion card installation.

To further enhance the building experience, ASUS includes a detachable rear PSU bracket for easy power supply installation. Inside the case, there’s 33mm of space for cable routing and a unified front panel header to simplify cable connections. A multifunction cover, cable shroud, and rear cable clips are provided to keep internal wiring neat.

For users managing multiple fans and RGB components, the built-in controller can handle up to six ARGB devices and six PWM fans. This centralises lighting and cooling controls, reducing clutter and improving accessibility during setup.

Connectivity and user-friendly details

At the front of the case, users will find a generous selection of I/O ports, including four USB 3.0 Type-A ports and two USB-C ports supporting 20Gbps data transfer and 60W fast charging. A headphone-mic combo jack is also present, along with power, reset, and LED control buttons.

One of the standout usability features of the Helios II is the integrated carrying straps. Designed in an X-shaped weave and attached to the top of the chassis, these straps make it easy to carry the fully assembled rig to LAN events or around the home, adding a practical touch to an otherwise performance-driven design.

Launch date and pricing in Singapore

The ROG Strix Helios II will be available in Singapore from early September 2025, with three models offering different colour and design options. The black version is priced at S$569, while the white version will retail at S$579. A special ROG Strix Helios II Hatsune Miku edition will be released later in the month at S$629.
